thanks i got 3 yesterday but paid one at a time for them, can you put all 3 though together and get 1500 points on one receipt

    yes you can.

Just to make things even more confusing -

in one store near me, the So Brit 50ml and So Superstar 50ml came up at £3.93 each and I got 500 points per bottle on my Boots card. Tried the exact same bottles in another local store and they came up at £5.24 each and the 500 points.

Plus, today instore, I bought 2 bottles and some sponges, total came to £8.75. I got a total of 1078 points - 1000 for the 2 bottles of So, but I didn't spend £15 and I appear to have roughly 10points per £ added on my card from this transaction?

I've just bought two lavender waters, two rose waters and two So Exclusive. Total price £25.42. Got 2000 points for the waters, 28 normal points and 217 event points but, as warned by various people on here (thank you!), no points for the So. The SA who served me, when I said I should have the points, said it was only premium fragrances. I said that my friend had got them the other day. She then said that the fragrance offer had only started yesterday. I politely said it had been runnng for some days now. She then went to her manager who said the offer was not on the So. I said it was and was redirected to the manager. She said it was only on premium fragrances. I said that was not the case and pointed out that I had been given the points on the waters. She looked at the receipt and said that the points were for the So. (No mention of premium fragrances now!) I pointed out that they were for the waters as she could see by the number of points. She then gave up and added 1000 points to my card!

I therefore spent £25.42 and got 3245 points. And the charity bring and buy is about to get some rose water!

Well done Picasso7; a really good example there of staff trying to fob off a customer by making things up as they go along!

Maybe not, although senior staff can do points adjustments in store, so in theory they can correct errors in response to complaints, if you can persuade them that you're entitled to more points.

Oh i meant that they can not manipulate it as in take any automatic points away as the till would give them automatically in that transaction for those that are saying they did not get the 500 points on So...?

I think it's just the So Exclusive that isn't working, the rest of the So's are OK.

    I bought a cologne water £4.39, a rose water £4.39, a 50ml So Brit £3.93 (sel £5.24) and a 100ml So Me £3.75 (sel £4.99) and I got 2000 extra points.

My total spend was £29.90 and I got points of 52 plus offer points of 242

    Total points 2294

just look at my receipts, i've got the 500 points for buying one perfume, but no other points are on, just the 500

I bought online and I spent over £50 for the increased points but only got 2000 points for the perfumes -- I have emailed them, Boots are generally very good!

I understand that the staff a lot of the time are unaware
of these 'deals' but they merely put the transaction through the till the points are awarded automatically.

A few people have reported that the So? exclusive doesnt work like in this case.Luckily the person got 1000 as a goodwill gesture
