Boots Fragrance 500 pts offer - some under £5

Just wondering if any of you have smelt the So...? Perfumes and what you think of them.Ive bought some and they all smell quite strong.which one do you think is the nicest.

I had a good old sniff of 4 of them today :rotfl:. I really don't like Sinful, too heavy for me. Brit and Superstar are okay imo, Kiss is more distinctive, theres a definite scent there that I recognised and didn't like, so I didnt buy that one. So (the original red bottle) is okay too.

So printed out 25% off shampoo/conditioner, 25% off shower gel, 15% off a deodorant, 100 points WYB mascara, and 200 points off £20 spend. I tried the self serve and the machine jammed so an assistant took me to the main tilll. Got the So...Sinful? £5.24(500 points), the other coupons would not work except the deodorant one so she calculated them manually(incorrectly I might add, short of 20p discount) and asked a Manager to add the 100 points for the mascara. She said I could not use the 200 on a £20 spend "because it was a 10 points special above £15!". My Receipt has 150 points(60 + 90) on a £20.38 spend so the 200 was better than the special offer! I am a bit disappointed that I couldnt use all of my vouchers! I am thinking about contacting head office, I am sure I should have been allowed to use the 200 point coupon.

They won't be with all the other perfumes. They were with all the other So and Charlies body sprays which were to a side. Ask for the 1411 fragrances and they will all be there. Or you could just say you are looking for some rose/lavender cologne for your grandma and I am sure they will show you where they are. The bottle are like bottles of baby oil. Managed to get 5 today.

Also, the pink acm machine gave me a voucher for 150 points when I bought any hazel and witch tree product. The face masks are 99p, so I got one of those and got 150 points which is like a 51p profit in Boots logic. Check to see if you have one of these vouchers in the machine when you put your card in.

I had a 200 point coupon I tried to use on a £27 spend today, but it didn't work with the current 10 points for every pound spent offer either (manned till). I did get the straight 270 points though (plus I had 3 bottles of So 50ml in that so I got 1500 points for those too).

Oh no, you don't tell them in advance. You must have got a trout. Some SA's in Boots are just awkard for the sake of it.

Gutted, i brought these on sale a few weeks ago, with no extra points. none eft in my store.

Also with extra points vouchers like 200 points when you spend £20, the vouchers do not work and it clearly says CAN NOT be used in conjuction with storewide points events, so you can't complain really, not any SA's fault. But that is weird that the £20.38 spend only recieved 150 points unless there was like £5 of excluded items?

If it doesn't go through the till, can't complain when the voucher specifically says it wont work bt if they dont even try then hmmm.

Also SAs can not manipulate automatic Bonus Points.

Or phone up CS and tell them what happened. If you can remember the SA's name, mention it. They probably need training. If you get someone nice, they will probably apologise and possibly let you have some free points for the inconvenience.
