    Having read the thread, particularly in regards to my original question on it (post#14), as to which is the best viruscan for me. It would appear some say MSE and others say AVG or Avast.

    Much to the arguing to and fro on the thread, I am still none the wiser of which is the best.

    I'd agree with that. Don't think there'll ever be consensus, because there's always some subjectivity.

    I've always used AVG and don't think I've ever had a problem
