    Errr I have a confession to make, my Fund has gone the wrong way :(

    DD turned 13 at the beginning of the month, & whilst I'd booked & paid for a hall & a deposit to the DJ 6 months ago ... in the 3 weeks before the party, work turned manic, I ran out of time to sensibly & cheaply arrange stuff ( decorations, food, party bags, balance of DJ hire etc) so just threw money at it using my CC :o .

    Used savings to pay off CC so am down to £1,100 :doh: I've done loads of overtime though, so should be able to put a decent amount back at the end of the month.

    Back on track again now though :D
  • We all fall Lula-Hula it depends on how we get back up again!

    Great well done you! :T
  • Well Lula my savings fund has gone awry too :(

    We need to get my credit card balance down to €2k to proceed with our mortgage application. DH paid €500 off the balance, and I took my €400 savings and transferred it off the balance too.
    So GRC you were right - I should be concentrating on paying off the debts first before saving.... :(
    Still I think I will drop by regularly still, if you don't mind?
    And aim for €300 emergency fund savings for now....
    Well done on your progress GRC and Lula :)
    Debts: Credit Card: €6000 ---> €5050 Feb 25 \ Overdraft: Step 3/100
    Savings: FF Fund: Step 23/100 \ CU: 3755/4000
