  • they do not get your bank details! They will see who you bank with that is it. They dont go giving your account number out which WOULD be against the DPA.

    If you do not want any one knowing anything about you then don't have any credit products. If you do then you cant moan. Anyone can do a basic search on credit its not just companies! It is not illegal!

    with my water company the reduced billing is only after a meter can not be fitted, not before and as said not backdated. But if you wanted meter etc could have applied on their website and got confirmation of this.

    If you have any queries with them I would send them letter/email and not speak to them over phone if you carry on the way you have on here as people will switch off to a lot a attitude.

    If the dates are wrong, provide them a copy of your tenancy and they will amend the dates they are billing you.
