"Part P" is not, and has never been, an accredited electrical qualification. It is a Building Regulation. No one can be "Part P qualified."

If you do not understand the Data Protection Act, read it again and if you do not understand english, pay a solicitor to tell you what is and not!!!

They jail people for not paying council tax because they have to feed themselves and the family. After all what councils do not realise is that they will be fed in jail and not have to pay council tax after all and cost others to feed and say in jail. Also there are thiefs who would not pay at all, after all what do you get these day from pay council tax. absolutely nothing. The councils charge for dumping rubbish or household small waste at the waste so called recycling centres. You have to pay for parking, even though you pay high petrol and tax, crime is high, so the only relief is jail where you get food and bed for free at the expense of you.

So you would rather get a criminal record than pay your council tax??

So if Thames can't remember your phone calls why don't you write to them as suggested above? Try to remain rational. Your above posts show you find that hard!

I do not find it hard to remain rational. When I call them and ask whats written on the system, I get told not much and all I do is laugh and them them what a waste of my time call them and it will cost them for me to call them and they are the ones that are not rational. I have a habit of recording my calls and when I tell them its recording the phone goes dead. So who not rational!!!!!
Do judge the book by the cover. Have you never heard of this!!!!!

Twonk, the debt collectors got your address from your credit file, which your bank updated with your new address, duh.

Twonk and dt3887 read the Data Protection Act. Where does it say the debt collection agencies are allowed to view your data, address. As I have written in the post elsewhere, read the Act before writing, Makes a big difference. If you thing debt collection agencies are allowed to get to your bank details or credit file, then there is clearly a breach of the Act, as any one can claim to be debt collection agency and come for money from you that you do not owe. Did you watch BBC Watchdog of 03/10/12 - that is what debt collection agencies and credit reference agencies do, make money at your expense when there is absolutely nothing you owe them and they have broken the Act.

The Data Protection Act also states that

"Personal data shall be obtained only for one or more specified and lawful purposes, and shall not be further processed in any manner incompatible with that purpose or those purposes."

This basically means if you owe a company money and then disappear they can use any means necessary to track you down providing that infomation is only being used to contact you to chase a debt which is what has happened here.

Ok you don't believe you own them anything but the company think you do
