exel1966. Which is why I said VISA.
You need to read the OP's post. You keep quoting VISA chargeback. Nobody including the OP is referring to VISA chargeback except you.
The OP is clearly referring to 'accidental damage' insurance, something entirely different which many cards give free for 90 days. It's absolutely nothing to do with VISA , nor chargeback which can only be used with problem retailers who've not supplied goods or gone bust and not as general damage insurance. :mad:0 -

C/b timescales just to advise OP, for future reference.
As I posted earlier at least two VISA cards do provide accidental damage cover.0 -
The OP is clearly referring to 'accidental damage' insurance,
Then you are assuming which as many know can make a !!! of U & me.....
Op says can they claim on their credit card?
Either way makes no diffrence and if a Visa card provider are providing accidential damage. Then it is something they are providing and not Visa.Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0 -

However in that case, surely OP can claim on the card?
I've claimed on my HSBC card before now for a TV that failed after 6 months.
