    Well it worked. :j

I got the free shampoo that the original shopper didn't :D

I only did it once because the other womble produced an APG that was more attractive to me. If I was doing it again I would have done it in a completely different store
Ooh, well done :j Free John Frieda. (that sounds like a "Free the weatherfield one" prison chant he he):rotfl:

Pah - ethics "schmethics" is what I say :p (I don't have any of my LYB cards either). I've bought and paid for them and they are not forthcoming.. Delboyphil, please let me know how you get on with the BS

you need to change your habits... if you have a ciggie with a coffee/glass of wine etc then try to lay off the coffee and drink water. The craving will last for minutes so when you get one, jump up and go do something to occupy you until you forget it (boring things like putting washing away, cleaning the loo). You can do it. I stopped before i got preggers so am prob about a year down the line now.

    Thanks Tigerwhite :). Good advice.

I quit when I was preggers with my DD, but as soon as she was born I was lighting up again. I'm an idiot. I was extra hormonal an irritable because I was so desperate for a cig for 9 months! :o:rotfl:

Tesco have napkins reduced to 6p. I think it is a pack of 10. They are fully coloured and have things like BBQ written on them and a animal (funny ones for a barbecue). here was a sheep one as well. Looks nice but personally didn't think it was all that good value but could come in handy for many people. Seen in a few local stores.
    Cup of Tea? :coffee:

Like that was ever £14 in the first place!!!!!!

I saw 24 packs of charmin in asda today but can't remember how much it was. Certainly wasn't £14 :rotfl:

Sorry if you're being serious JJ, I just saw the half price bit and nearly spat water all over my phone

    I know!!!!!!! I totally agree.

27p a roll is pretty reasonable which is why i posted it but who in their right mind would spend 58p a roll! It's shocking how people fall into the trap of thinking its half price so it must be a bargain.

Much better to look at it as a unit cost. It's stripped of all bells n whistles then.

    :)

    Edit:
In Asda 24 x shades loo roll is £7.99 but isn't triple ply.
Not sure folk would buy the 24pack if they've stocked up on t'others:D

A friend did that with her milk shopping in the fridge at Nero coffee. An hour later she went to retrieve it and found the staff had used it up.
Its funny you say that, when I got back this evening there were three bottles missing from my case of 24 that I had to top up from a normal shelf. Don't know whether it was staff having a nice cold quickie or if a punter had to pay the price of a case for every 250ml bottle. Not very mse if it was!!

Apparently if you stuff a couple in your back pocket it keeps the mozzies away.

I'll try anything that might prevent me from getting bitten.

Eat Marmite every day - take a jar with you or take a vitamin B capsule every day - my OH does the vitamin B capsules and i do the Marmite - love it and since doing this every time we go abroad I have never got bit and OH only a couple of times - apparently mozzies don't like vitamin B, (a bit like fleas and garlic) really works - give it a try xxxxx

This stuff from Avon is meant to be very good for keeping the mozzies at bay:

I can vouch for Avon's skin so soft. It's the best thing for keeping mozzies away
Got one over on those pesky frogs today. Went to buy sandwiches at the supermarket for our daily trip to Disneyland and still no ice. There was a nearly empty fridge near the chilled sandwiches so I popped a case of beer in there right at the back at 09:00 and returned at 20:00, hopefully to collect it ICE COLD! Happy days, currently enjoying the fruits of my labours!!:j:j

Love your story. Cheers to cold beers :j
Well I eventually found the food bank and was met by a jovial old black fellah who reminded me of Morgan Freeman...........I was just told God would bless me and I left with a warm fuzzy feeling.

Well I take stuff to the charity shops of course but never really done this before.....might do it some more, specually when theres coupons to get stuff for free! :)
That's a nice thing of you to do FK
