Someone was asking yesterday about where to find any decent deals on loo rolls.
Asda's have their own "shades" pk of 9 white rolls for £3.
This is really good stuff....definitely on a par with Andrex IMO.
And a good way of using up any APG's!!
Misery guts asked me today if I would buy tons of toilet roll if it went as cheap as the kitchen roll.
My reply was that he would be boarding out the loft :rotfl:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Life will be alot easier if you can use them on the SS tills.
Thanks for taking the time to FB them
I told them about R3druth and P00l, it scanned at R3druth today. They seemed surprised that the tills weren't recognising them so I guess they didn't realise it was a national problem!! They contacted those 2 stores specifically, so my advice would be to mass message them on fb about specific stores!I'll tell them about PZ as well as we are quite often down that way too! I'm glad they're working in my most local now though, it's a pain in the posterior when you have to swap tills or explain what they are and what they are supposed to do with them!!

I don't know if anyone can help me (my mum really!) but mum has an Apple Mac (10.1.3) that she used to have dial up internet from Tesco's on. Now Tesco have stopped that but I have no idea if I can get broadband for her or have to look for another dial up service - or bin it and buy her a laptop. Any help would be so appreciated. x
Hi, FC, good to see you posting again.:T:T:T:T
About the Mac - you need HappyChappys' input - resident Apple boffin. HTH0 -

Very true, I had a bad experience with a ruthless manager at R$druth last year on a dtd, p0ol were very good on the dtd on the 12 bottles of the yazoo drinks we brought0 -
Here's an odd one for you, I messaged Mr T on fb earlier in the week regarding pp not scanning on ss tills. (It was getting annoying because staff frequently have no idea what to do with them, and the 'I've never seen one of those before' was becoming more regular!!) I asked them on fb if these darn things are ever likely to scan or will I have to continue to provide their staff training for them?! (Not quite like that, but you get the gist!) They asked which store because apparently there shouldn't be a problem I gave them two of my locals. They told me if vouchers are continually not scanning, they should contact their tech support people, and they would contact both stores to sort it.
I went in there and used one today, bingo! Scanned on SS! First time ever since they changed from price check. :T:T0 -

Seriously though, just uninstall the Tesco Dial-Up and look for another provider, but in all honesty, you can get broadband for the same price as Dial-Up these days.
What kind of Mac is it out of interest?
I knew that you'd help HC, just a bit behind so only just told flowerclipper that you were the resident boffin:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

I will check S for the vodka as Mr S has kindly sent me 8 x £4 off £20 spend
£21.80 in Mr S!! :eek::eek:
If these do go to £15 per bottle in T then one bottle purchased alone qualifies for £6.80 BM. Boom! No fussing about with any extra items
I'll need to see if I can womble a few £3wys£20. I usually can no botherApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0
