I tried getting the activity books today. There was a whole shelving unit of kids books with a sign saying kids activity books. All had the 3 for £5 stickers on them. I picked up a pirate one and 2 peppa pig. The discount kicked in so I was charged the right price.

Now, although these books were all together and look alike, the pirate one has activity book in the title but the peppa pig ones have learn at home in the title. I'm now guessing this is why I was charged the correct price. :(

I may have to go back tomorrow and try again. :)

Does anyone know if you can buy more than 3 at a time. I'm guessing you can't. Thank you. :)

The ones I bought today were peppa pig learn at home, horrid henry's puzzle book and the pirate activity book and the offer didn't work. The pirate book has a barcode on the back of 9 781846 467721

    Evening all!

I still have to catch up from 10.30pm last night so hope all is ok with you all :D
I just wanted to say a huge thanks for all your ideas for fundraising, prices, biscuits etc. The event wasn't as busy as expected unfortunately but we still raised £67 which is certainly better than nowt! So thanks again

It also did me good to be busy as today is the 6 month anniversary of my grandad's passing and now I've sat down and stopped I'm feeling very down, I can't believe it has been so long :(
So... I'm going to have some food and occupy my mind catching up on here... you lot helped me so much through his illness and passing so I know reading through here today will cheer me up!
  • Yeah right :rotfl::rotfl:

    We never know :D

To be fair, whenever I've contacted them via fb, I've always had a quick response and a decent outcome. For problems like this, I favour that method of contact! :D

I will try that next time :) thanks
  • I've had 2 till spits from them too, off a £25 and £30 spend. As if I would spend that much in one shop there!!

Sorry mr m, you need to give us more incentive than that!!!

  • flowerclipper I also used to have that Mac (ooh about 11 years ago now) and ran broadband on it fine.
However it was painfully slow, but as you say, may be perfectly tolerable for your mum, and the only option as replacement is going to be costly. I wouldn't use it for anything secure though.

We used it as a print server for a bit but it's now a doorstop :rotfl:

I told them about R3druth and P00l, it scanned at R3druth today. They seemed surprised that the tills weren't recognising them so I guess they didn't realise it was a national problem!! They contacted those 2 stores specifically, so my advice would be to mass message them on fb about specific stores! :D:D I'll tell them about PZ as well as we are quite often down that way too! I'm glad they're working in my most local now though, it's a pain in the posterior when you have to swap tills or explain what they are and what they are supposed to do with them!!
have you got a link to the tesc0 fb post:)
