Delboy Phil seems to be getting a rough ride.
Any reason for it ? ( you have to excuse me not being up to date with the thread, sorry folks)
Delboy has been posting about getting very large APG's and , in some peoples opinions, has been using them a little foolishly ie in a manner likely to get him collared my managemnt and given a good talking to !
He has also posted in such a way as to suggest that he is planning to re-use some high value APG's which he has already used once but the SA has forgotten to mark the receipts. He hasn't actually come right out and said that he IS going to do that - but he has certainly tried to give that impression.
Personally, I am beginning to have serious doubts that he actually does what he suggests and I reckon he is just getting a kick out of winding some of us up!ELITE 5:2

It just seems silly to me to buy 20 of something and then see if you like it.
Good luck to Delboy phil with APG .My balls not big enough to go for an APG that big.
As i had not eaten the beans before i got 1 tin to try and then got some more as we liked it.0 -

I've not targeted an APG before - i've thought about it but never done it, now im worried about the 8 items - I know an onion etc... but i'd like to get things I would use anyway - like treats, choc, juice, pasta, bread yogurts? Any of these ok for a comparasion or is it hit and miss?
Sorry if stupid question?
Edit - is it stupid to do 6 bottles? Im afraid today may be the last day so want to make the most of it ?0 -

Just shows the written word is subject to interpretation.
I thought the issue people had was that too many high value APGs could lead to a re-examination of the policy and scupper it for everyone.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Come on guys, how can it be right to try to use a APG that has been used already.
Of course it is wrong? surely

For anyone following my John Frieda saga I will only be going for one free bottle today. One of the wombles generated an APG of more than £5 so I'll be redeeming that instead and not returning anything on that receipt
APG value was thanks mainly to John Frieda's price in Morries :rotfl:
1 x John Frieda Frizz Ease Straight Ahead Shampoo (250... £5.00 £2.75
1 x John Frieda Frizz Ease Straight Ahead Conditioner ... £5.00 £2.75
So the 2xJF would have been £4.50 cheaper in M, That adds £4.95 to the value of the APG. :j
The other receipt gave an APG of pennies so I'll definitely go for my free bottle and then just bin it
Interesting.
Please does anyone know what this weeks offers in Morrisons are - I am wondering if the cocs are still have price. not that I need either JFK or choc but it would be useful to do an Asda v Morrisons shop for a change and also to use a wine generated apg“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. If DBP gets collared it will be a good learning experience for him :rotfl:
Got to give it to him for having the guts to try and push the boundary.
If I had high value apg's i'd use them no bother.
Has my 12 APG's and a £5 off £40 shop in 1 go been beaten yet ? :cool:Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -
Thanks FairClaire.
People have a problem with high value APG's ?
Really ?
What happened to the more the merrier ?
Having had a £200 dtd a while back i'm not sure that any APG's come close to that, so whats the difference between them ?
NOTHING
Both are getting more than you bargained for.
Gosh you guys and girls are so fickle.
There is no line in the sand.
I have no opinion one way or the other. Each to their own and all that.

I tend to err on the side of caution and get 10 incase an item does not compare.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
