Same reason as people get 20 bottles of Lenor or pizza or anything else. With a long enough use by date and some storage space it saves money!:money:
Friend of my OH won a £5 voucher in a raffle - like the mysavyme vouchers - useless to him so we swapped a bottle of marks wine for it :T“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Needed a box of chocs today as the ones I had bought I forgot to take with me
I don't know if this is a blip/a store specific mistake, but I bought the Thorntons Classic Collection 330 g in an Asda local for £3.00 (said price reduction from £3.25 on SEL). It seemed a really good price so just got back and checked on tesco.com and these are showing at £7.30 and at £6.00 on asda.com.0 -
I think part of being MSE is being resourceful and not wasting stuff. Not a scrap of food goes to waste in our house (lucky old hens) I personally find extreme stockpiling just for the sake of it to be offensive. We owe it to our children and grandchildren to be sensible about what we take out of the environment. Everything has a value even if we get it for free.:o:)To do is to be. Rousseau
To be is to do. Sartre

made me. My hens also make sure there is no wasted food in our house. And me and most of neighbours and friends never need to buy eggs. I pay the window cleaner in eggs too!

Re the John Freda stuff, a while back I got my shopping home and saw I only had 1 pack of bogof wipes I looked on the receipt and the cashier had only put one through, I went back and was given the other pack of wipes without a problem.
I am not saying if I would or wouldn't go for the freebie just giving my experience on a genuine error0 -
Too late, had someone smash in the side of me this morning, said he never saw me:eek:, sent me sideways down the road and i drive a big sandwich van. But he was driving some big ford thing, bright yellow which is all over my van now, along with the dents:(. But like a trooper carried on with my round, a little shakey but thats all.
