I normally end up getting my targetted shops completely wrong but if i was to buy the John Frieda products below with a number of other smaller purchases should i get an APG back??
I'm guessing as the wine is a no no with these as that's from Tesco?
I will understand all of this one day!! :rotfl:For anyone following my John Frieda saga I will only be going for one free bottle today. One of the wombles generated an APG of more than £5 so I'll be redeeming that instead and not returning anything on that receipt
APG value was thanks mainly to John Frieda's price in Morries :rotfl:
1 x John Frieda Frizz Ease Straight Ahead Shampoo (250... £5.00 £2.75
1 x John Frieda Frizz Ease Straight Ahead Conditioner ... £5.00 £2.75
So the 2xJF would have been £4.50 cheaper in M, That adds £4.95 to the value of the APG. :j
The other receipt gave an APG of pennies so I'll definitely go for my free bottle and then just bin it0 -

Why get twenty cans before knowing if you like them? ..just because they are free doesn't mean you have to stock up...better to get one can, try them and if liked, then get more.Born to glitch0 -
Hello everyone.
Happy birthday Celebrate ( you don't have to justify yourself to Victor i'll tell him off later, if he answers his phone)
Whats this about ketchup please ?
Was on M1 today, watching a fire crew using the jaws of life to cut the roof off a car to free the driver, so please take it easy on the roads people.Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -
I know where you are coing from. I've had times when I felt I was banging my head against a wall. The missus seemed to justify her spending against my savings
She's coming around. Even came on a coupon shop with me at the weekend!!
I know there are a lot of others in our boat. OHs take time to come around to the MSE way of thinking
Not sure about returning items by post that were bought instore. It certainly can't hurt to ask them though.Awh I know how your feel - don't know if you can return by post unless he has receipt and then you could call them and explain? My DH did this too along with bottles and ( I BF  ), rattles, bibs and vest  I tried to use mine as I wasn't allowed to return, hope you can!
i know i shouldn't complain - he spent his own money, BUT never the less, it could have got into his savings a/c.
Daisy i'm BF too, thankfully he didn't buy bottles, or he would have been drinking his beer out of them! :rotfl:
Aau saw your earlier posts re OH spending. Very annoying finding out how much they spend  Some days he's really good and will get woopsies / ask for discount etc. But when it comes to football it's all out of the window.
Just thought that returning bibs wouldn't be any good as they'll just give me a gift voucher and it's not any good to me. I think i'll keep it in my "gifts to give away" box for now.:money:0 -

I would hate the thought of buying some food item and knowing that it had been return by a customer:(Toni`s Mummy0 -

Same reason as people get 20 bottles of Lenor or pizza or anything else. With a long enough use by date and some storage space it saves money!:money:I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I think or like to think that the majority of us try the wine or free product first then stock up, not the other way around. I bought three bottles of the glitched wine, tried it, didn't like so will not be buying any more. Just because it's free doesn't mean we should get it.Born to glitch0
