The_Coupon_Lady wrote: »Afternoon Everyone,
I've had a morning I don't want to repeat. My DH took my rabbit to the emergency vet with suspected fly strike first thing.
Luckily we caught it in time and my poor baby is now in an indoor cage sore and feeling sorry for himself. I've got cream and medicine for him and a follow up trip to the vets on Tuesday, but I've been so lucky, fly strike kills rabbits in 48 hours.
I think I'll pop out to A's and get him some parsley.
Ah, bless. glad you caught it in time.N1LDA0 -

Good evening lovelies,
Ot but I'm proud of my daughter so I thought I would share.
My dd (13) is cooking mad this summer and was busy yesterday making lovely cookies and today she decided she would make pasties!
I've never made them before and didn't have a clue but she has been cooking away with supervision and these are the end result, she's made about 15 in total
I've just eaten one and it was delicious

Totally off topic. We are going to paris next weekend and I really want to see eiffel but I can not find any tickets. Tours are really expensive with dinner and I dont want the dinner either. Whats the best way to see eiffel, canal tour and other things as mse (cheap) as possible:)
I will be in paris next weekend too
well we are packing our motorhome today and driving down to windsor tonight and going to Legoland tomorrow (thanks to clubcard vouchers) And Tuesday we catch the ferry to France
we will be there until next wednesday.
You can change your clubcard vouchers for tokens for the river seine paris cruise but i doubt they would be back in time now for you to take next weekend
We have a year pass for Disneyland and when we go into paris itself we buy the day travel ticket which lets you go on any train, metro, public busses and the cable car at Montmartre for the full day. you can buy passes for longer but not sure how much they are. You get them from train stations and info centres.
heres the link to buy tickets for the eiffel tower http://www.eiffel-tower.com/preparing-your-visit/buying-your-tickets.html
There are huge ques for the tower! so best buy tickets before if you can.

I must go look for the plenty pack. Been really busy though, but I'm running out so really should get it whilst it's cheap cheap
Aww that was really kind of you. I always think twice about pointing something out to people also. As some people stick their noses up at you as if your beneath them. This really angers me as your only trying to help them save money. Can't please everyone I guess
Oh yes I get that some times. I was the the trafford centre at Millies queue. I turned to the guy behind and asked 'do you want some coupons' The look and the no I got would have killed me it it could. :mad:tigerwhite wrote: »Afternoon.

Can you use both the coupons out of the car book for Febreze on this? Thanks0 -
It wasn't Mr T - it was just done with my Tesco credit car. The company was Flexicover and gave me an excellent quote for DH (who is 82 and has a couple of medical conditions declared). I certainly only put my card details in once although I did go through the quotes several times without doing the payment bits (I wanted to make sure I'd done it all properly).
Will phone this morning - I have 14 days to cancel anyway so probably can sort it all out. Just a bit of a shock!
I know this is a little off your topic but I used to deal with travel insurance and my tip is to look at natwest and rbs advantage card and Royalities accounts which you pay for that come with travel insurance. They are from £120 a year or where when I dealt with them and for annual multi trip cover it was very good value for the older client....:money:
Also you pay monthly to no large lump sum like with normal policies.
Very much worth a look, I used to also pick up calls from people calling help the aged and felt terrible having to sell them policies when I knew they could get soo much cheaper through there bank.... Funnily enought my next job selling life insurance was the opposite and I was forever telling people not to go to there bank!0
