Wait a minute? you're going Tuesday? is VISA included because when I went I had to send a form and cheque (bankers draft) off to the Cuban Consulate in London to get an entry visa. You don't need to send your passport off but they send you a coupon back that you hand over with your passport when you arrive at immigration. It took about 3 weeks for mine to arrive. I don't know if they have changed it since I went though or if it's different for travel groups etc.

we are getting our visitors visa with our tickets from thomas cook, costs about £30 each that was last years cost. not sure about time scales tho

well well ms anderson not exactly telling the truth are we ? heres your quote from mse - "Trouted again! I was soooo embarrassed!
Went into T to do a shop using sum vouchers, which included 2 beanz vouchers. The SA said I have to have these checked as we received a memo saying there's a lot of fakes
She called the supervisor whom took a good 10 mins to come, she then called a manager. He took forever to come also. Then they went through every voucher I had (all10 of them) I only had 2 of each voucher though as I'm way to scared of using more than 2 at a time. By this time everyone was looking at me and complaining about waiting. I was bright red with embarrassment. Someone in the que said where's he got all them from, someone else says what he doing with all them. I felt like I was in a freak show. They then went off and started to look at the CCTV screen (different shots) don't have a clue what that was about. eventually came back and said I couldn't use the beanz one as I had 2 with the same bac code and they said we have to keep these as they are fake. I have never been so embarrassed in all my life. It really was awful. Don't think I will be risking it again. Half an hour later and my ears were still red and burning, but not sure if that was with the embarrassment or fuming."

another of your quotes ms anderson "Afternoon everyone. Hope your all well and happy. Been out all day so lots of catching up to do. But just noticed the pork ain't working anymore I bought 3 expecting £10 pp but got £1.11 oh well it had to end at sum point. I mean there's a limit to how much pork you can eat or store, and I got a freezer full."

oh yet another quote from ms anderson - "No I use 2 different stores. Sometimes even a third store which is 15 miles away. This is the second time it's happened. I did do DTD last year just after the vouchers were capped at £20. Never really had any problems back then though."

your vouchers were fake ms anderson as you well know cos your on other websites telling people how many youve printed out, its people like you that make everyone elses shopping more expensive, i trust that tesco will do the right thing and make sure you are dealt with according to the law on this.

Transfers are included - not cheap but thought we had best sort that out.

Taking cash, though not expecting to need much (taking plenty). Will take the tip of taking things like soap for housekeeping staff etc - thanks for that.

Might actually see if I can break my own rule and pick up a guide book - time so short so better that way than depend on the postie! Never booked this late before!

Are you taking the kitchen roll?? :rotfl::rotfl:
Hope you have a great time - very jealous.

Oh, and they won't stamp your passport so if you want the stamp, you have to ask.

Careful with the currency, there is a tourist currency and local currency. Don't get the two mixed up as it's an easy way to get shafted. Also, tourists generally aren't allowed the local currency (and vice versa) and when I got on a bus (which only accepts local currency) the driver wasn't too happy, but thankfully the lady whose B&B I stayed in was on hand to smooth things over.

Rather than get a taxi and pay £20 back to the airport I got the bus for slightly less than 2p.:beer: I had to walk about half a mile but for such a saving it was worth it.
