    Transfers are included - not cheap but thought we had best sort that out.

    Taking cash, though not expecting to need much (taking plenty). Will take the tip of taking things like soap for housekeeping staff etc - thanks for that.

    Might actually see if I can break my own rule and pick up a guide book - time so short so better that way than depend on the postie! Never booked this late before!

    Wait a minute? you're going Tuesday? is VISA included because when I went I had to send a form and cheque (bankers draft) off to the Cuban Consulate in London to get an entry visa. You don't need to send your passport off but they send you a coupon back that you hand over with your passport when you arrive at immigration. It took about 3 weeks for mine to arrive. I don't know if they have changed it since I went though or if it's different for travel groups etc.

    Some of the city folk must easily beat that little lot. OH's mum is semi professional cake maker so will make light work of that! :)

    I get brownie points anda few of the 'failures' :T

    Ooooh! I got them!:beer::beer:

    I got a secondhand pair from the local https://www.webuy.com shop that newly opened up. I paid £145 for them. I tested them fully and they work perfectly. They are so good if you crank the volume up you can hear the defects in the original recording.:eek::eek:

    I had £160 worth of vouchers for that shop that I had been saving up by selling them my DVD's when I had finished them so I've saved £200 technically, all the more money for Duty Free (Westie knows I can't resist a few litres of spirits from the DF shop:beer:)

    And as Westie can confirm, I've 'clanked' my way around the world.:eek::eek::rotfl::rotfl:

    It's OK - it has changed - dealt with at the airport now! Only just booked so haven't got full details through but that is what we were told on the phone. (OH made the phone call so I don't know full details!!)
    What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
