Well, I have got to go and continue my panicking! Have to check my swimming costumes still fit and aren't going "weird" like these lycra things do, we have to check the suitcases are still in one piece (somewhere in the loft!), have one or two things to add to the list of to -dos (have to pick up some of those "in case" tablets as DD took last ones to Spain. Also we refused to pay £40 for in flight meals so need to stock up on filling snacks to go with the sarnies we will get at the airport (fresher than buying the night before!). Planning on taking a small coolbag for those too!

I normally have 6 months to plan for a holiday. We knew we would go on holiday soon, but wanted all-clear for OH's ankle from hospital first and for him to finish antibiotics. Both things happened, then we found this holiday, and I have 5 whole shopping days to deal with things (including Sunday!!!) .

By this time everyone was looking at me and complaining about waiting. I was bright red with embarrassment. Someone in the que said where's he got all them from, someone else says what he doing with all them. I felt like I was in a freak show. They then went off and started to look at the CCTV screen (different shots) don't have a clue what that was about. eventually came back and said I couldn't use the beanz one as I had 2 with the same bac code and they said we have to keep these as they are fake. I have never been so embarrassed in all my life. It really was awful. Don't think I will be risking it again. Half an hour later and my ears were still red and burning, but not sure if that was with the embarrassment or fuming."

your vouchers were fake ms anderson as you well know cos your on other websites telling people how many youve printed out, its people like you that make everyone elses shopping more expensive, i trust that tesco will do the right thing and make sure you are dealt with according to the law on this.

Palaplay has no idea what the law is. They have no idea if a set of vouchers are fake as they've not evewn seen them.

The hotels are government owned so don't bank on them helping you out as it a big no no and they can get a right bollocking for it.

I found a little old lady selling cat and dog sandwiches out of her kitchen window, I paid in tourist money which she was glad to get her hands on and gave me a bag full (literally) of local money as my change.:beer:

Bus drivers will not take the tourist money though, it's more than their life is worth to have that dropped in to their cash box (sealed and only opened at the depot by the cash office) and they couldn't give you change anyway.

Of course, all this could have changed since I was last there, but who knows.

You know the big red double deckers that do the city sightseeing tours in various cities all over the world? Havana has them, about £5 a ticket for a day.
