Yayyyyy for all your embabies T2D :j:j:j They just have a lickle wait for their mommy to get 100% better and then they will be ready to come and meet you :T:T

Amyloo - I had a similar drunken convo with my sis and sis-in-law a couple of weeks ago :o They knew I was trying, but they are a little further ahead in to their own journies than I had thought. Was kind of good to have a chat. I think in hindsight tho, perhaps in wetherspoons after way too much wine was not the most discreet of places for us to have been discussing it :rotfl::rotfl:

Claire - Hugs for having a hard day. I think some people are unsure on how to handle things - especially if they have never experienced a loss. I said to DH last night in between sobs that I'd do anything to go back to being insensitive and not knowing what to say. :o

Congratulations Nic & Nessie. Looks like January is on a roll now. Hopefully some more testers before we finish off too

Vesper - I loved the image I had in my head about your ferrets on the treadmill last night. It helped me smile - thank you x

Firefly - I think the goals are a good thing :T I am trying to not let TTC stop me from doing so much this year 'in case we are pregnant by x date' etc. But in reality it is hard.

January - Hope you manage to get DH referred ok.

Mrs T M - hope you are feeling better soon

Birdie - Hope you are PUPO for real. Are you gonna test? I'm PUPO too

Loulou - I'm full of cold too - booo. Glad ov had been and gone cos I don't think I would fancy it at the mo :o

Teamlowe - I think I would have been super annoyed in a not trying to be annoyed at the moment cos I still need a BD out of you kind of way :o

    Amus - Fingers crossed!!

AFM - Its DH's turn to be upset today. A large meeting today at his work, and the big boss put on a big presentation on how well the company has performed etc, with powerpoint style presentations. And then proceeded to put up all the pics of the babies that had been born from the staff in the company. DH said he felt very sad to not be able to join in, and it just made him think even more about what we have lost :( Soooo glad I wasn't there. I don't think they would have been prepared for how loudly I cry at things like that :o:o

TTC # 2 since Oct 2011 - good things come to those who wait :o

LOL that's everyone isn't it! I'm pretty miffed that I now have to really persuade OH to BD. I feel really attractive when he's so reluctant!

Good luck Nessie sounds like congratulations could be due soon

Glad you have good news Time2deal. Hope the 'downess' goes soon.

Amyloofoo having a moan does help loads!

I am waiting for AF next Wed/Thurs. I think I'm coping well with the waiting but this may be because I'm feeling optimistic. It's hard to stop hoping for a BFP even though I really want to get ready for disappointment. I might have to go shopping for the ingredients for peanut butter squares to cheer myself up.

I wonder how many of us will be drowning ourselves in the peanut butter squares by the weekend lol!

Time to deal that is great! Can you post the link to your blog again? Really happy for you. It's pretty amazing to know you've got embryos ready to go!

I'm feeling a bit better now spoke to my friend and bringing the baby out just isn't practical which i expected myself & I was actually suprised when I heard she was coming in the first place so now the baby is ill she can't come which is totally fine I just think I take things ridiculously personally right now.

Have a good weekend everyone! X

Abi, don't think I'll test until Tuesday if AF stays away. Don't like seeing BFNs so in no rush to see another one! :o

ETA: Big hugs for your hubby. Do they know about the MC at his work? :(

Glad you're feeling better now Claire :)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Hi! Can I join you please? Been lurking for a while and thought it was time to take the plunge and start posting. We're ntnp for the next month then starting in earnest next month. I'm 31 and we're trying for baby number 1.

I have a bit of a complicated medical history and only have one ovary/tube. The other was removed 18 months ago due to a borderline ovarian tumour. My consultant is really pushing for us to start trying properly in case something comes back, so here we are!

PS Those peanut butter squares sound amazing!!

Amus I'm pretty sure we can congratulate you too :)

Congratulations again T2D, fantastic news :)

Welcome Ruth, hope it's short stay here

Abis big love to your husband, that would definitely suck and to you too

Claire I'm glad you and your friend have sorted things, I get the same sometimes when people cancel/change plans so know the frustrations.

Thanks for your reassurance ladies. Only a teeny amount of ewcm today, more yellow and less stretchy so hope I'm right, I would love to have Oved one last time before March, well for the second time since August too lol
I didn't let DH know I was annoyed as I think that would have made it worse, he's promised me tonight so he should be fine, this has happened before once or twice and the next time be was fine

Skintchick your comment about girl v boy sperm made me smile, I've only ever thought of myself as having girls. My dad's side has two boys (Inc dad) and 10 girls.
I once watched something that said Sperm have a protective coating that stops your body from thinking it's something to attack. There's a gene that means something happens in a lady's bits to strip off the coating and her body then attacks the y sperm but doesn't the x sperm as it thinks that's ok. It's supposedly why there's slightly more ladies in the world than men
Probably bobbins but explains my family a bit lol x

  • Hey ruth :-) I've been waiting for you to join us here :-) only having one ovary should only impact fertility slightly so hopefully your stay here will be short and sweet!

Abi big big hugs to your hubby. Its hard going for our men folk too.

Will catch up properly when I get home but my non ttc news for today is that I've handed in my notice at work :-D

Benicetomyself - I;m 15/16 months in to this journey and I still hope every single month (or cycle - sometimes it can be every 7 weeks) :o I mostly think its a good thing - apart from CD1-CD3 where I usually cry an awful lot :o

Kellykins - hope you caught the eggy

Trina - You can have all my snow - I don't like it. Give me sunshine any day!! It has nearly gone - but heavy forecast tonight and tomorrow >sigh<

Claire - I was exactly the same shortly after my miscarriage. It passes tho. I remember being so so cross and 'let down' by MIL not coming to DDs birthday even tho she had had a bad car accident :o Feel really mean and guilty for thinking that now. :o T2Ds blog is here: http://community.macmillan.org.uk/blogs/b/kaths_cervical_cancer_blog/default.aspx

Birdie - I'm a glutton for punishment with the BFNs :o:o I just can't help myself. From 9DPO I normally start. Ah, ok I started early this month and did one today too cos I feel 'funny'. Nothing of course to do with my stinky cold is it!! Obv a BFN  Yes, all the people in his dept know about the mc - but this was like the big boss doing the presentation so he wouldn't have known. I don't think it was done intentionally at all - just unfortunate for those who haven't gotten there yet. I bet there was about 200 people at the meeting, so there will probably be others who had lost babies or long term TTC people / IVF people etc. :o

Welcome Ruth  Hope you stay is short & sweet.

Teamlowe - good luck with operation BD tonight Ninja_glomp_by_CookiemagiK.gif

Lemon - Yr right - I think the men folk get forgotten sometimes. Dh is not the most emotional of men - hes only cried twice since I met him (good job one of us doesn't cry at absolutely everything, lol!) so I was really surprised when he said that to me. I do forget sometimes that he lost his baby too :o:o Yayyyy for quitting tho :T:j:beer: How do you feel now? xx
