Huge hugs Tink....it's so hard isn't it? To quote Monica from Friends 'why do they get two?' lol (and later on...'we only ordered one!')

Me and hubby had a good long talk earlier about ttc. Hubby is finally going to phone my doctors tomorrow and get me an appointment. He's been relunctant to admit we needed help before now. It's a positive step forward so am happy about it.
Finally have chocolate and sugary stuff. Can't believe that I haven't had anything like this since xmas. Sooooooo good.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -
Gotta love Friends
Abis, the dieting and exercise is still going quite well. I haven't weighed for a while but will do so tomorrow morning. Managed to do a bit of walking in the snow and although I was a bit naughty and ate a little over my calorie allowance on Saturday, I've been under 1600 calories every day for three weeks.
Well done on your weight loss hunDS born November 2013 :smileyhea0 -

Am not craving sweet things after taking the supplements though. Instead I want a pizza crunch, which is half a pizza, dipped in batter and deep fried.
You can come to mine I have a tub from Costco :rotfl: I love peanut butter.
Team lowe you are right. At least now the hospital doesn't just remind me of bad stuff to do with babies. I even was thinking at one point if I get pregnant there are 2 other hospitals near me I could choose to go to, but the current one has a brand new midwife led unit with private rooms, birthing pools etc so it's really a good place if you have a low risk pregnancy.0 -
Hi Ladies
You have been busy chatting today! Congrats Cozza, heres to a healthy 9 months!
Think AF is almost finished here and am ready to start another month even though we are now more aware of our problems - keep telling myself it only takes one! Got to keep positive otherwise I think I might crumble and that will be no good for OH
Am sick of this snow now - roll on spring/summer!
Hugs to all xxx
PS love that line in Friends - I can still watch episodes now and laugh like I've never seen them even though I've watched them hundreds of times!!0 -
Need some help ladies, been asked if I would do the gift bags for my friend's baby shower. Was thinking of doing a 1980's childhood theme (mostly as we are all 1980's babies plus I have masses of My Little Pony gift boxes left over from my wedding). But apart from some retro 80's sweets I can't think of any ideas. Does anyone have any ideas that could help me.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0

How about:
* 'snap' around bracelets or glow sticks?
* Mini cans of hairspray (for the 80's bouffant)
* anything neon like leg warmers/ arm bands etc.
* an 80s themed 'baby' mix tape (on a CD obvs...)
* Posters of 80's pop artists (Kylie & Jason etc.)
* Hair scrunchies...0 -
Congrats Cozza- hope everything goes well for you over the next 9 months!0

AFM- fertility appointment today has left me feeling a bit deflated. Consultant said he reckoned my PCOS was the root cause of the problem but has ordered more blood tests to check egg reserves and thyroid function and a HSG to check my tubes (which can't be done until after next AF and you can't ttc on that cycle so that's another month lost).
After that he thinks I'll be a good candidate for clomid (probably around April by time all tests completed and been back for results etc.) but said that the success rate is 34% for women on clomid- I was shocked it was that low to be honest. If that doesn't work he'll send us for IVF which is really not what I wanted to hear. I really want this to end now. Pfffff...0
