Sorry about the BFN Becca :( Hopefully it's just a shy bean! :)

Glad you had a chat with your OH Elsie, it can be so hard at times and it's kind of nice to know that the men are going through the same rollercoaster of emotions that we are. :o

OH and I have moved onto gallows humour :p We're always cracking little jokes about being barren although last night when he said, 'Let's just give this all up and be barren people with lots of dogs' I told him that whilst I'm holding up my end of the bargain he's letting the side down with his super sperm! ;)

Hugs becca. Its a long n hard journey at times. It will happen tho. At 11DPO I only had the tiniest of TLP's when I got pregnant. DH said it wasn't a line and I was imagining it. So you might not be out yet this month :o

Hope your OH's results come back ok and come back quickly goodvibes.

MrsTM - I guess AF would be late by 25th anyways? I don't think I could test on xmas day as I think I would be in floods of tears if it was -ve. I'm due AF on xmas day typically tho!! So one way or another I'm gonna find out. Going to do a test on xmas eve tho so that if its a BFN at that point I am expecting AF at least.

Elsie - Are your cycles still all over the place? I got my bloods tested cos my cycles are still so irregular - from 30-48 days :( It was only 7 months since my miscarriage so I didn't think they would actually do anything about it, but they did without even questioning it.

AFM - Rang for my second set of 'CD21' results. I had them done on CD19 (as CD21 was a sunday) and CD26. CD19 showed progesterone levels of less than 1, and CD26 showed progesterone levels of 22 even tho I am sure I ovulated on CD23. Progesterone should be above 30 to indicate ovulation according to the doctor. So now I have to go again on CD33 for a repeat test - and I thought I was going to come out with flying colours and show that I had ovulated perfectly :( So now maybe I aren't so hopeful for my christmas baby :(

  • Hugs becca, my cycle buddy, but you're not out yet... Fingers crossed it's just shy.

Hugs also to Elsie and abi.

Afm I'm not hopeful, have some browny cm this morning and got a couple of spots on my chin so I'm guessing af is on her way.... Really not sure what to do if I'm out this month - we're getting married Jan 2014 and I want to lose a couple of stone before then. But I'm 34 on Christmas day and not sure I really should stop trying! Any advice would be appreciated xx

I hope AF stays away apple*pie! :) If I were you I'd try until March, if nothing happens then take 6/7 months off to lose some weight and get ready for your wedding then start trying again, that way you may be PG on your wedding day but you won't be showing (much). :) Of course I hope you get PG before then so you can bring your little newborn to your wedding! :T

It must be so difficult to make the decision though; I'm really glad we got married before we decided we were ready for a baby, it made everything a lot simpler! :)

ETA: Big hugs for you Abis. I really hope you get a Christmas miracle, you deserve it after what you've been through! :)

  • Hugs to Elsie, Becca, Abi and apple pie for BFNs, generally feeling down, and what looks like AF on the way.

I tested again this morning (11 dpo). BFN. It was a cheapie internet test that I forgot I had. Feeling extremely poo now, I know I wasn't hopeful this month but it's always at the back of your mind isn't it?

To make matters worse, I was in a shop in town yesterday and the lovely lady who works there always says that I have a double who also visits the shop and she mixes us up. I hadn't been in there for a few months and the lady said yesterday "oh how lovely to see you, you were very pregnant last time I saw you, you must have had the baby now!". So apparently my evil twin is walking around somewhere with a baby. What a stupid thing to get upset over, I know.

If it were me applepie, i'd just keep trying. If you stick to something like slimming world, its a healthy and nutritionally balanced diet anyway. I don't agree with fad dieting or pills or anything like that cos I just think you put all the weight on after you stop anyway.

You can do slimming world up to 12 weeks pregnant, and after then you need doctor/midwife permission to continue.

I think you would regret it if you stopped trying til after the wedding and then really struggled to catch on afterwards.

Hugs Angel. Maybe she saw a premonition of you instead tho ;)

Have asked on the 12months+ board cos really don't want to google about it. Doc is away til next week so I just got the results off the receptionist as I needed to know whether to go again on friday. I really didn't think I would need to :o

DH is naff all use bless him. Hes getting confused between my molar pregnancy urine results that I get every 2 weeks and my blood restuls and trying to 'make me feel better' by saying things which I know are not true. He is trying tho bless him, he just doesn't really get it all. :o

  • Morning Ladies,

Becca - Big hugs to you.

Good Vibes - Good Luck with OH SA. Fertitlity can go up and down in a mans life so if your OH has been taking care of himself he might get better results this time.

Apple Pie - I gotta say that I would start preparing for your wedding and NTNP. Losing weight (as long as you dont starve yourself) is good for both ttc and fitting into your dress. If I had to choce between looking good in a wedding dress or getting our baby I would pick the baby everytime. A wedding is only one day.

Abis - my cycles are 30 - 46 days too. I hate the long wait for ovulation. Trying soy this month to try and bring ovulation forward a bit. It is so frustrating not knowing when you are going to ovulate but Claire16c managed it so we can too. :D Good Luck testing on Xmas Eve. Will be sending Happy thoughts your way:A

afm. Waiting, waiting, waiting for ovulation.*sigh*

CD24 and no AF for me yet (but seems to be on her way). At least I am in the normal cycle range now :j Last month 20 day cycle freaked me out!

(((((Hugs Birdie))))) for your cancelled appointment yesterday.

We all seem a bit down atm, but at least it will be the Christmas holidays soon! I will enjoy CD1 when it comes for drinking and stuffing my face :p

    Ho ho ho ladies!
