But it's not a competition to see who's had the crappest time is it. I am grateful every single day for my beautiful children and I know what an absolute blessing they are. It doesn't take away that awful memory of my last miscarriage

If I wanted to take this ttc up a notch, where would you start? I don't formally track anything but ov is normally pretty obvious for me. Pre mc cycle was very regular but hasn't been since. I'm trying not to wind myself up with it but I would like to see if I can give things a bit of a helping hand.

When I was trying for ds2 after my first mc I did try using ov sticks but I found them really difficult to read so didn't bother.

Any suggestions? I don't want to make myself any more mental than I already am but likewise I'm starting to get really impatient.

I'm fully expecting to be selected for redundancy and my final day at work will be April 30th. Wouldn't it be nice to be upduffed by then!

I keep dreaming that my maternity will start just as I take voluntary so I can walk away with a little package, not much cos local government so it's just statutory :(

I like temperature tracking, to confirm ovulation rather than predict

Abis I'm well jealous of you getting a kitten! I so want another cat but I don't think rocky would let us lol

Ps please get a black and white kitty, apparently they're really unpopular andarebeing left in shelters in favour of 'interesting' colours. My boy is black and white so it breaks my heart to think no one would love him cos of his colouring x x

  • Wow there's a lot of CD1 sadness going on this month. November is a s h i t month.

Courgette, I'd suggest you maybe try the Clearblue digital ov sticks. They take all the guesswork out of trying to interpret annoying lines. You get a smiley face when your LH surge is detected,a and you basically shag like a rabbit for the 24-36 hours after the :)
Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,
You don't even take him seriously,
How am I going to get to heaven?,
When I'm just balanced so precariously..

Are they expensive? I'm about CD7 at the moment so when would I start using them?

  • It depends on your cycle length. Mine is usually 28 days so they recommend I start testing from CD10.

I got my last lot from Amazon:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Clearblue-Digital-Ovulation-Testing-Kit/dp/B00352LUAY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1353191974&sr=8-1

They're not cheap but they do seem to work IMHO, and the reviews I've read online seem mostly positive.

I know how you feel. You just want to be doing something..anything. The most depressing part of this whole thing is it is largely out of your control :(

  • Light spotting this morning. Actually just want AF to start proper now so I can work out the battle plan for next month!
