QQ – can you remove me from the testing list please? I don’t think I could cope with going back to work on a BFN and as its still early in my cycle it would probably be negative. I am going to hold off a bit as if I am pregnant then I still will be later in the week

Hmm, I think I was a bit quick to call CD1. I'm still bleeding, but it's only really spotting. Had a pad in for a day but it's still clean.

Trying to stay positive though, and at least the chemical let me know OH was definitely the problem and not me (He suffers from retrograde ejaculation) as 4 years NTNP without success did make me doubt myself a bit. We were originally going for IVF but because of the age gap in our relationship, by the time I'm over the NHS minimum age limit for funding, he'll be over the maximum one, and we just can't afford to go private. This month has sort of confirmed that choosing a donor was the right decision for us, although I am sort of sad that I'll never carry OH's child.

So tried dd2 in her dress this morning it is cute even if i say so myself.







Lily - Giving up work was a huge decision but it was wierd I watched the last episode of 24h in A & E and this staff were talking at the end about life being too short etc etc and I just thought it's not worth it sometimes the money doesn't make it better. I guess I am very lucky that DH sold his rented house and paid down a huge amount of our mortgage so we are in a position where my money was a bonus. I have talked to lots of friends who are stay at home mums and they have all said you adjust & cope with the money u do have. Fingers crossed they are right. I think the money side of it scares me the most. I have to trust DH that things are OK. Will feel odd not having my own money as I have worked since I was 15 :eek::eek:.

Sorry to hear the crappy news about your tubes BZ, it's amazing what they can do so there's still hope Glad (well, not *glad* but YKWIM) that it's not just me who noticed the offending sig and got all sniffy about it.

Big hug and a little slap for Lily. I think you're probably stressing yourself out too much with all this which may be affecting things inside. Hide all of your tests and just try to relax for a couple of cycles. You and you OH BD quite often anyway don't you so keep that up. You're not douing anything wrong, Mother Nature is just a b!tch sometimes! Enjoy time with your little man and remember that you're already blessed.

Hugs for AF/Chemical RazWaz How does your OH feel about using a donor? Having a think about the what-ifs I'm trying to figure out how we'd feel about having a baby that isn't biologically my OH's, not that I've said anything to him yet, this is all in my head for now. I suppose the plus side would be that there's no risk of him passing down his Dad's enormous nose and ginger hair, thankfully OH has neither but I'm aware that they're in his gene pool!
