Hugs code, sorry to hear you are feeling down xx
Thanks codr & abis, would an anovulatory cycle be extra long then? I had very positive opks for 4 days then they were fainter so I'm not sure what happened this cycle!First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
Random question......... Do you ovulate from one ovary and then from the other one the cycle after that ??0

Congrats to Claire and lovecake - wishing you both happy and healthy pregnancies xx
Good luck Atton - hope you have a lovely day. Starting to plan my wedding and don't really know where to start!!!
Hugs code and everyone else that needs them. I need one today, got af wirh a vengence, got back into bed because I'm having really bad cramps. Also spent every evening this week with a friend in early stages of labour which has made me really jealous. And now we're planning wedding I just keep thinking should we stop ttc until afterwards as I want to lose some weight before I get married?? But at 33 I'm not sure I should wait much longer........ Why can't we just order these babies for a certain date??
Hope everyone remembered to change their clocks!! Xx0 -

I think so x0 -
Atton - hope you have a wonderful wedding day.
Pomme - According to my google searcg the general concenus is no. Some ovaries are more productive than others and some womens bodies often favour one side over the other.

an anovulatory cycle is when your body gears up to ov and then for some reason doesn't. When you ovulate normally the luteus corpus surrounding the egg bursts and releases the hormones to build up your womb lining but since that doesnt happen so no period. Your body should continue as normal and ovulate in the next cycle.
Happened to me early this year and because of a lot of evaporation lines on tests I drove myself and everyone else in here crazy.
As an aside last night DH was having dinner with the other girl in a restaurant we go to quite a bit and I dont know if they recognised he wasnt with his wife or if she just annoyed them but the waiters were rude and put a pube in her food. Do you think I should send a thank you card?Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

Hmm that's interesting, thankyou Firefly ! I'm having ov pains on the same side as last month so my right hand ovary might be more productive.
Happy Sunday everyone ! Love a frosty wintery day. Even though we're still in Autumn !0 -

You're meant to and that's why you have two but you're also meant to have a 28 day cycle so... Lol
I think most people do but some have a dominant ovary, I think I do on the left lol
A woman I know from school is bugging me to go to a kickboxing class with her so I guess I'm guna have to as I would like to be friends with her again. Just really, kickboxing? I want to do it I just already feel fat (did I mention she's skinny with 1 year old twins? So not fair) in comparison and the class won't be easy I may vomit! Lol oh well.
In car news, DH has taken apart half my car, the other needs doing but it involves taking out the brake pedal  so we may need to get a mechanic to put it back together. Still going to be cheaper than Toyota though.
Spent a lovely afternoon wi my sister and niece, although not so lovely when I changed her nappy, she's teething and it stunk soooo bad I gagged! But I did buy an amazing dress, the first time I can remember trying something in and thinking 'is looks good' instead of 'this would look good on someone slimmer' lol
New thermometer came, it's in faranheit. !!!!.
Big hugs for code, my husband is a bit single minded like that and it's so frustrating when you need the attention x xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Hey ladies, hope you are all okay? I've been lurking for the past week as I've been feeling a bit down and a bit ill.
I've been worrying myself because I've been in quite a bit of pain for the past few days and have no idea what it is - and I've been wondering if its anything to do with my medication.
I've had a pain in my left hand side for the last week - my hip really hurt when I lay on my side in bed but when I'm up and about, it feels like its in my lower back (kidney?) or sometimes it moves to the front so I'm feeling a bit confused as to what it is...
I am going to call the doctors first thing to get an appointment (you have to phone on the day) - I probably should have gone sooner but I was hoping it would disappear but just seems to be getting worse.
I start my new job a week tomorrow and this is the last thing I need.... I dont really get great sick pay and my contract also states that if I'm take too many sick days in my first 6 months then they can dismiss me with no questions asked. Starting to think that all this is very bad timing.....0 -
Squirrel big hugs, hope its something small, cranberry juice in case of infection! But also if you have PCOS hip pain is common, but I can't remember why lol x xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6
