I tested on the Thursday (two days early) when I got my TLPs and AF arrived properly on the Monday (two days late) after I was spotting on the Sunday.
You still don't know that it's not a dodgy test xDon't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -

Tinks - Lovely to see your crafty updates again.
Lilymay - hope you get some good news about your SIL soon.
Lovecake - You are testing just before me. Wishing you lots of spooky luck right before Halloween.
Claire - Have a great time in Hawaii, please try to bring back some sunshine with you.:rotfl:
QQ - Doritos cravings are a new one on me....I'm a traditional chocolate cravings girl:rotfl:
T2D - Feel free to rant anytime. Hearing other people always makes me feel a little less crazy;)
Hugs for any cd1's.
Hang in there MV. Everyone is here for you not matter what the outcome.
Ok here is my testing history this week:
Monday (11dpo) tested in evening with a First Response test. Got BFP. Then did a CB digi and got pregnant 1-2
Yesterday (15 dpo) - did another CB digi, expecting it to have gone up to 2-3, it was still and 1-2.
Today - tested this pm with First Response test, no line at all. BFN
I've just spoken to a GP on the phone. He said all I can do is wait, advised I take another test in a week if bleeding hasn't started, but said if I had a neg test it was unlikely I was still pregnant.
He also said the main cause for my mc's is probably my age
AF was due yesterday so I am a bit late, no bleeding or cramping yet. Guess it's in the post though.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
First Response tests also say in the instruction leaflet that if you are using them from the day your AF is due, you do not need to use FMU.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0

Let's look at this logically.
Not everyone's hormone levels rise at the same rate. That's why the idicator is only 90something% accurate. So if your hormone levels are still low, that would be why you're testing 1-2 weeks (given that it's 2 weeks one day since conception) as opposed to 2-3.
If your hormone levels are lower that could also be why you're testing negative with afternoon urine (even with what the leaflet says - that goes by *typical* hormone levels)
And get a different (more sympathetic) GP who's not just going to blame your age.Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
I'm really really sorry MV xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxUpdating soon...0

Hugs MV - I don't really know what to say. I've not been here long enough to offer advice, but it just sounds so frustrating! Keep us posted.
Firefly - thanks and good luck to you too! Although I think the 25th might be a tad early for me at 10dpo (I think) so I might wait until the 27th if I can force myself to!0 -
Well I got home an hour ago and tested. I got a super faint line, it came up right away but you can only see it if you squint. Went to the loo again a few mins ago to test with a digi and found brown CM. So looks like I'm out again this month.
Maybe another chemical, or maybe I just OVed late, either way, I'm tucking into chocolate and cuddling up to OH this evening. I'm not quite ready to call it CD1 yet, as I normally spot for 2 days before any real bleeding.0 -
TTC definitely drives you crazy - I know I'm not in with a chance this week because we didn't BD at the right time. But in the back of my mind I'm thinking to myself "what if I ov'ed later than FF says I did?" Kinda wish I'd tracked CM as well as temperature now!!!
I'm on a downer anyway because my nan came to visit this week. She said to me "Are you still trying lovey?. You obviously don't take after me - I've brought a leaflet for you". By way of explanation, she had a total of 9 children. And the leaflet was explaining about spotting ovulation and the different types of ovulation kits. I almost hit her. Even my mum was speechless. I won't even repeat the worst stuff she said. I know she didn't mean to offend / hurt me - she just didn't think.Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
MV, (((hugs))). Stop testing.
But if I was in your shoes, I'd be testing all day though, with all kinds of tests. (((hugs)))
Tinkwings, I missed your buntings:o
How are you?
