I think OV is due to be in the next few days for me, so it's decision time...
Had lovely news today that an ex-colleague's daughter has just had a healthy little girl. This is so nice to hear because she had a horrendous late MC a few years ago and they nearly had to give her a hysterectomy (she was only early 20s) and she's had awful AF since and they said she'd be unlikely to conceive naturally. So :j for doctors being wrong! No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Lily - I have no idea if it will affect me Yet, only cd6. Be interesting to see though x
When I took it, it made no difference:o
It tends to work better for those with long irregular cycles, and on their 2nd Soy cycle:cool:
Getting the dosage right is another problem.I think OV is due to be in the next few days for me, so it's decision time...Had lovely news today that an ex-colleague's daughter has just had a healthy little girl. morning all...
Code - im sure you looked great regardless of the dress, but i know how you feel, sometimes you just look at something and think...eugh...but just remember DH isnt making much of a deal about it because he loves you no matter whatand if he isnt making a deal that may well mean hes seeing something differently to what you are seeing. Think you need a cuddle, though im not sure the dodgy one fits this, best get DH
QQ ur totally right about it being great for TTC.
Im totally gonna get my first finger wag when i say...my hips are a bit uncomfortable and i feel a tiny bit different, cant really explain how i feel a bit different but i do, on the other hand there are accompanying very slight AF pains, so maybe its just gonna be a short cycle for me, or i timed the cycle wrong (though i dont think i did)
well who knows, ive never ever had a regular cycle in my life and if it did catch this quickly id be more than surprised!

How will it work with your surgery?
Well the referral went in last week, so I should have an appointment in two/three weeks with the surgical team. Just hoping it takes and they can operate after Christmas so I'd be past 12 weeks. No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

I've seen the photos and I just look like the back end of a bus. I actually cried when I saw them. Not sure what I want anyone to say to this but DH doesnt understand and I needed to get this out.
Ahh big hugs Code, I completely understand how you feel, I always have the same issues, so much so that I was dreading seeing my wedding photos - only seen a handful so far so when the rest of them arrive I'll be looking at them with my hands covering my eyes!!
My OH is pretty good and always says lovely things about how I look but dont think he truly understands as he hasnt got an ounce of fat on him anywhere!
I know we are always super critical of ourselves - I'm sure no one else is thinking the same thing though, they are probably too busy worrying about what they look like themselves!0 -

Bleurrgh, I've taken my first dose of Metformin this morning and already feeling pretty gross....
I'm trying to decide if its all in the mind because I've been dreading taking it or whether it is really making me feel sick.
This must be the reason it helps to lose weight because I really do not want to eat anything, just want to throw up instead! :eek:0 -
I'm on 1 tablet a day (500mg) for a week then have to up it to 2 a day.
Took it this morning after eating a bowl of porridge then felt okay up til lunchtime and now I feel headachey and really nauseous!! I have read about all the side effects and was expecting it but its still pretty rubbish (although I'm hoping it will all be worth it in the end!).
Havent got any side effects at the other end yet :rotfl:knowing my luck that will come along during an important meeting I have in work tomorrow!!! :eek:0 -
Codemonkey, I so know how you feel & sympathise. I nearly cried when I saw the photos of our Christmas party. It did spur me on to join weight watchers though and I've now lost most of the weight I'd gained... was a horrible shock to the system though.
Squ1rrel5 - my DH is exactly the same, about 6' tall and weighs about 10 1/2 stone despite eating vast amounts of food and snacking on !!!!. It's so unfair.
Firefly - good that you have ov'ed, sounds like you managed to catch it at the right time so fingers crossed
I'm spending the day trying to study for an exam next month, while DH installs a new kitchen floor, but it's difficult as the subject matter is way over my head and I keep getting called downstairs to help. Would much rather be watching a film or reading or pretty much anything else! Hope you're all having a more fun Sunday than I am0
