Hello ladies !
Sending all those on CD1 a huge virtual bar of Galaxy.
I was just checking out some people's temp charts to see what they whole idea is... so the temp goes up after ovulation, and then back down again just before AF strikes, is that right ? And if it stays high then it's a sign of pregnancy?
Only 1 more ww for us Metranil ! Going so slowly !
Updating that mahoosive list must take u ages every day QQ, thanku !!0 -
atton I hope I didn't upset you. Good luck with everything.
Auugh NCT friend no 2 just announced her pregnancy..I'm jealous!Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
Hi benhop. Welcome
QQ- Just purchased a CBFM myself so looking for moneysaving tips as i have a long cycle length and sticks are expensive:money:
Did you mean you only test until it (hopefully) says peak and then stop testing?
I had also read on here before that you can start as cd5 only youre really cd9 or something to trick it and use less sticks. Is this correct?
I just really hope it works
Pomme- cant help you there. I get up at such different times charting would be a waste of time for me i think. Im sure someone will be along shortly.
Raz- Poor you! Sounds awful. Fingers crossed for the job hunting.
Mrsj- If your anything like me id be itching to get back then a few weeks later wonder why exactly that was:p. The month will fly by and Im sure hes probably right. Dont tell him!
Hi coops hope you had a good time.
Lou- That would have driven me mad. I hate any kind of noise when im trying to sleep.
Atton- Dont go. Thats what were here for.
AFM nothing to report. Was away for a spa weekend and it was brilliant. So sad to be home:(. Plenty of BDing done but its probably to late so it was just for fun. Almost forgot what that was like.:D
Have a great evening all.0 -
QQ - lol, yes babies are louder then lizards (tho to be fair the lizards are very quiet - its their food, the crickets which are noisy!)
Guess it just worries me as hubby can literally sleep through anything - the cat walks right up to him and meows in his face and he doesn't stir, or when I had norvo virus earlier this year he didn't even wake up when I was sick everywhere, or for the following 6 hours of me running to the toilet! And what makes it worse is, if he is woken up or sleeps badly he is a truly miserable git the next day - literally only needs to miss 10 mins sleep!
I know I don't need to worry about any of this yet, but the thought popped in my mind last night...0 -
Thanks everyone. Had a tough few days, literally a pregnancy announcement every day for last 3 days!!
Hugs birdie!! I hope so QQ xFirst baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
Morning girls
Hugs for cd1 becca.
Atton - don't leave, we are all in a similar position and here for same reasons.
Need a rant about hubby - we have lizards and one of their crickets was lose in our bedroom last night, I woke hubby up asking him to kill it (as they freak me out and I can't bring myself to kill anything) but he wouldn't get out of bed, we'd only been in bed 10mins...damn thing cheeped all night and kept me awake, plus I was freaked out cat would bring it to me - she's done it before!
Was really annoyed hubby wouldn't just spend 30secs doing this for me and as a result I got no sleep. But also made me wonder what it'll be like when we have a baby as hubby could sleep through a nuclear explosion and gets SO grumpy if he's woken up or misses some sleep, so I'm doubting he'd EVER wake up/get up to see to a baby...
If I was you I would have put the lights on and shouted at him til he'd done it! :rotfl:I was downstairs the other night and saw a spider so poor hubby had been asleep for half an hour and was really tired when I woke him up but its a spider and its his duty as I am petrified! :)Although he wasn't too impressed when it turned out to be a piece of fluff....Horrible weather here, chucking it down so loud that I can hear it inside (I'm deaf so that means its pretty damn loud, lol). So I'm taking great delight in spending the morning tucked up toasty warm in bed with a good book and my iPad
Ipad sounds good Ive just bought on for my DH for his birthday this week. Was lovely and sunny here today though, nice to sit outside on my lunch break, dreading winter when we'll be confined to the indoors and wont be able to gossip as much :rotfl:PommeVerte wrote: »Hello ladies !

Yes, and yes.
And then maybe. Its a sign - but you can be pg and not get a 3rd rise. Or you could get one and perhaps not be pg. So dont rely on it0 -
Hi Ladies, hugs to all CD1, i believe that is where I will be tomorrow.
Sorry I have not been around but work and life have meant that I have not been home much.
QQ please can you update me, I OV'd on cd15. We only bd'd once this month and not at the right time, so no chance at all this month, but never mind.
Sorry if i have missed big news. Take care allLeopardlady
Got married on the 26th April 08!!!!!!!:j:T
Bumpy Bean was due 20th Nov 2010, born 15th Nov :j:j:T0 -
Evening all,
Hope everyone has had a good day.
Raz - Rubbish weather here too. Been miserable all day!
Mog - Good luck charting this month
T2D-Nice work on the 3am BD! Lets hope it did the job!!
Scooby - CD9 and already getting a peak? You guys with short cycles are so lucky...! Fingers crossed for this month.
Coops - Yay for a peak. FYI - Once your monitor detects a peak, it starts a program so don't bother wasting anymore sticks...after your first peak it will give you a second peak...then a high..then back to low. It doesn't bother to read your sticks so don't waste anymore that cycleYay for PMA. Let's hope it was a good investment!
MrsJ - So glad you are feeling better. Fingers crossed work let you back. It's horrible not having anything to distract you. Hugs. Also, I would really like to know who decided it is normal for a healthy couple to take up to a year to conceive. What do they base it on? Are they assuming that the couple are having lots of sex at exactly the right time in the cycle? If so, 12 cycles seems an awfully long time to me. I can't see how that would be the case given that so many people manage to get pregnant quite easily and it's only those with issues (known or unknown) that struggle.
Pomme - Your temp should be at one level before you ovulate...the day after ov, it should jump up...and then it should stay elevated. If AF is going to arrive, it should begin to drop at the end of your luteal phase...or if you are pregnant it will stay high. Progesterone is the hormone causing the thermal shift and obviously if the egg implants more progesterone is produced. If that makes sense!
Ben - WelcomeHope your stay in short and sweet. We aren't all scary!
Metranin - Hugs for the pregnancy announcement. PMA for this month though
Loulou - I wouldn't worry about your OH not waking up to baby cries...they are very loudI'm sure he will realise that sleep comes quite far down the priority list when you have kids..!
Claire - Hi! I'm quite looking forward to winter. I much prefer wrapping up all warm to swanning about in a bikini!
And me for...
Had my interview today; it went really badly! I just fumbled most of what I want to say. To be honest though, I have quite enjoyed work recently so I'm just not bothered. Quite a nice feeling not to 'need' the job if you get me?
My PMA for this month has flatlined. I *know* I have already ovulated...but today is CD21 so normal ov day and I found some ewcm before and it just confused me. MehI've done that many negative pregnancy tests I can't comprehend one actually being positive again. On the plus side, I've lost 4lb so far.

Hugs for flatlining PMA lily. I know what you mean about cm being confusing. I keep reading too much into what's going on in my knix, and I know it's a pointless exercise. Try and stay positive hon (easier said I know)
I've even been reading back to when I was on the TTC Part 5 thread and got my BFP to see what symptoms I was having/when I BD'd/tested etc! From the looks of things I was a nightmare who ss'd constantly and had Q's wagging finger going all the time! :rotfl:
I've decided i'm going to test on Saturday morning with FMU. I'll be 11 DPO/CD 24 then which is probably too early, but the test I have is meant to be an early response one.
Hugs for the CD1's xMetranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
Ooh MrsJ be carefully you've decided to be careful! The reason they say you're more fertile after a miscarriage is you could ovulate at any time! SoOv might be tomorrow, or a week, or yesterday!
Lilymay I guess it's just the majority of people get pregnant in a year, doctors are very good at being patient lol
Arm I've cut a deal with DH, BDing CD 19,20,21 and 26,27,28 to cover both options for Ov and he gets a burger king. I think he was joking about that but you never know...
Speaking of which, since we started saving and DH has had takeaway less the guy from the Chinese across the road has swapped his car from a BMW to a Kia :rotfl:Little Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6
