managed to get DH to BDed but now i've got a conundrum ladies.

if i trust that this is a 42 day cycle again i can make sure we do it every day for 3 days up to CD28. but with me getting a bit of EWCM now i'm hoping that means it's shortened again, but i don't want to make him every day for like 10 days cos there's no way he'd do that and i so wanted to do it every day this cycle instead of hoping that once two days before is enough.
on the plus side i would love it if i my cycle went back down to 35 days (which the gynae said could happen), more chances in the six months we've got before we go back to gynae *and* it was a 35 day cycle i got pregnant on. we'll have to see, no doubt it's my body playing tricks on me as always lol

although i've been knocked for six today, found a colleague who i think of more as a good friend has had a miscarriage :( really upset for her and it's brought back how i was feeling when i came back to work after mine x x

Thanks for your input Only :) I think I'll start cutting back at OV instead from now then if that's what a GP has recommended.

I do have co-codamol but it doesn't work for me at all. I take very very strong painkillers (morphine wont even work for me) as it's pretty extreme pain and there are none strong enough that are safe when pg. I know I'll have to do without, and I managed it for 3 years before so I know I can do it for 9 months again.

    HI all,

Sorry this is a very fleeting message, just want some advice.

OH'a SA has come back with 'slightly reduced mobility but otherwise normal'. He needs to have a telephone consultation with the GP to discuss the results but the receptionist couldn't tell him when that would be.

Anyone got any idea what will be said to him? Ie: is this really bad news?

I'm getting all in a tizz about it :(

Hello ladies and any gentlemen still around.

This 2 week wait is taking its toll. I thought I was further ahead than I am.
Had a bit of a scare yesterday after bding I was bleeding a bit more than normal afterwards. My OH noticed it first as he was covered. When I wiped it was pinky red. Just a tiny bit of brown blood today mixed with fluid. Must have been a bit too rough. Even though we used Conceive Plus.
I had a random cramping in my left side too and still have a bit today. Anyone had that?

Sorry lilymay I don't know. Maybe they just need to confirm the news with him and discuss the results.

  • Lilymay didn't want to read and run. I have no advice other than to say don't even think about going on google.... I'm sure one of the other lovely ladies will be able to help more, but google tends to be full of scaremongering stories that won't be applicable to you...

On the bright side, you have been pregnant before. So bear that in mind while you are waiting to hear from the doctors x

  • lilymay I imagine it is just to chat through the results and answer any questions your OH may have. I wouldn't think it is anything more sinister. Dr's nearly always like to talk through test results, my OH has had loads done to him this last 18 months and every time they've asked him to phone up to chat them through.

Try not to stress too much, it doesn't sound severe at all.

Q - would you mind changing me to 6DPO in the list please hon x

Thanks ladies, i feel very reassured :o

You are right - OH and I have gotten pregnant twice before and both times have been very quick so perhaps they are just disussing them with him :)

Still determined this is going to be our month! PMA!!
