QQ - Didn't do anything different, just got very very lucky.
Seems to be lots of sticky beans this month. Will keep lurking if that's ok with you ladies?2022 Target - Reduce new mortgage balance after house move - Part 1 (Ported) Starting balance £39,982.12 currently £37,242.19 Part 2 Starting Balance £101,997.88 currently £96,197.38 (as at 19/04/2022)0 -
Seeing people trying not to SS has had me giggling, I was doing the same earlier. "Oooh I've got lots of cramps" xD I'm 5DPO and the cramps are cause I've spent most of the day on the loo
Nothing to do with a bean, but it doesn't stop you hoping
What are people doing about alcohol/drugs (prescription/over the counter obviously). Personally I'm going by the fact that a sticky bean can't take anything from your body until after implantation, so carry on as normal for the first week of the 2ww, then stop for the second. Just wondering what everyone else is doing. Have I got it all wrong and I should be stopping for the whole 2ww?
I find it quite hard to live without my painkillers (the bottom 4 vertebrae in my spine are fused). I know I could give them up if I had a bean to do it for, but giving up for no reason is really hard. I know TTC in itself should be a reason, but it's hard to believe that when you've been stuck in the same position on the sofa for 3 hours cause it hurts to much to move.0 -

Good morning everyone:wave:
CD1 here:o Expected (when one only BD'd a week before ov), but sad nevertheless:(
Now I need to ov by CD17 at the latest, as I'll be away from DH from then on. I ov'd at CD29 this cycle so I'm off to a gym from tomorrow, and no or less carbs for lunch or dinner:cool:
MV, (((hugs))) for being quesy. Not nice SS or not:(
PommeVerte, sore b o o bs are quite normal in 2ww, water retention:D
becca, hugs for BFN, could you have ov'd a tad late?
Needhelp, of course, stay as long as you can:)
RazWaz, just make sure you don't overdo alcohol etc during the first part of 2ww, and cut it out as completely during the last 1 week. I'm sure there's painkillers suitable for pg people too.0 -
Morning all
Hope everyone is ok hugs to cd1s and congrats to the bfp
My temps seem to have settled down or so i think
Got an appointnent today about my benefits to give them a letter from college as still nothing from student finance
Had the housing officer round friday complaining benefits hadnt been paid and i could tell she didnt believe me when i had seizures when i started shaking on the phone to student finance she couldn't leave fast enough soo gonba loose my home too
This is really getting me down now
And my boobs are so sore to any touch and itchy feet are doing my head in
Is there anyway i can get rid of all the insides as its not needed ever ;(0 -
Hi Raz
Im on prescription medication thats known to be completely unsuitable during pregnancy.
On speaking to my gp she advised me to not use it wotsoever after ovulation then start using it from af again. She said babies organs start developing from week3 so u couldnt risk it.
However i know what you mean with it technically not being joined to anything yet but just going with her advice. Although i have slipped up a few times but luckily as you can tell, wasnt pregnant:p
This is just what my gp told me though so just to be safe you could make an appt to see yours or try a pharmacist?
Just to add, a lot of painkillers are suitable during pregnancy except a few. Co codamol is still ok under your doctors advice so this could be a 2ww alternative maybe?
As for alcohol, im drinking as normal. Never had a big night out yet during 2week wait so in that situation i would cut it down drastically in volume! Having a few drinks but not getting drunk if that makes sense.
Hugs atton. Try to keep up the pma.0
