Plus OHs cousin has just announced her pregnancy. I thought we'd be first but obviously not. I had to go to bed to cry so DH didn't see me.

Even with AF due yesterday, 13DPO is still early for a positive test . I'm really sorry but I can't remember how long you've been off birth control? When I came off the pill last year I had two clockwork 30/31 day cycles, and then a mammoth 48 day cycle. It was really stressful expecting AF to show, and then no show, and then negative tests etc, so I really do feel for you and hope hope hope it's a BFP!

((hugs)) for hearing the pregnancy announcement too, it can be really hard. I always try and remind myself that a) I want our baby, not theirs, and b) I wouldn't wish a long wait/ttc difficulties on anybody...... but it's much easier said than done, and there is always a bit of jealousy/sadness however happy I am for people. You are in good company here - we all struggle with pregnancy announcements.

Thanks mrsj. I know it's early, I'm very impatient which isn't a good combination for TTC is it?! I've been off the pill since April. I think my cycles have settled now, they seem to be around the 32 day mark with ov around CD 20 so a 12 day LP. That's how my last 2-3 have been. My first one was nearly 60 days!

I doubt it is a BFP, we didn't BD at the right time, I had weird OPKs, lots of things really. Oh well, just want next cycle to come!

I think we are all pretty impatient here! We just all really want a baby I think ttc has taught/is teaching me a lot about patience though, which is definitely a good thing!

Thanks for asking, I'm doing ok. Just taking it one day at a time We won't be officially ttc-ing again for a while, but I like to keep reading/posting here as I feel very at home here and like to know how everybody is getting on!

I'm quite a patient person (I'm a teacher so goes with the job!) but where things I have no control over are concerned... I have no patience at all!

I've been doing ov tests randomly during this cycle and they've only just started getting dark now, which fits in nicely with when I would expect to ov. Ish. That pregnancy test is an evap line, for sure. I have a few from that pack left and I will do another one tomorrow to see what comes up but it is almost certainly just a rubbish batch.

Atton - I agree with MrsnotJ...she speaks a lot of sense! At 9dpo (and only CD19 in your cycle) I wouldn't be going off a OPK. Use a pregnancy test, but not until af is late.

Im back from the paralympics had an amazing time, the athletes are so inspiring. Saw a nail biting silver medal in the swimming, the crowd was going insane including me :rotfl: Then saw athletics this morning, stadium was so brilliant to be in, and we had a great view. Was so lovely to cheer on athletes from all countries as well as ours. And my friend is a games maker so got us a nice discount in the shop to boot lol!

We never got in a 2nd well timed bd in the hotel in the end as we were so tired by the time we got back and knew we had to get up early today so decided not to. We'll be on holiday hopefully the next time I ov, so just decided to look forward to that really.

Boiling hot today, only managed one lap of the olympic park after our event and had to leave as we were sweating! Looks like its set to be a scorcer tomorrow too! :T
