    Congratulations Tinks!

    Good luck for tomorrow BB

AFM: Appt didn't go great. I'll be having surgery next month but she thinks there's no chance of unblocking the tubes. She thinks ivf will be our only chance, and they only offer two cycles of ivf on the NHS. I have to lose more weight before I can go on the 18wk waiting list for it. Which means the very earliest I would start ivf consultation would be April/May next year.

I've no hope of conceiving any time soon so I'm gonna go back to massively lurking over in the barren corner :(:o

(That was an attempt at humour, but clearly wasn't a good one :o)

  • Hugs BZ, sorry your appointment didn't go well :(

I have a number of close friends and family who have gone down the IVF route and it has worked for them, so that it definitely a positive course of action to consider.

I probably shouldnt laugh at that but you did make me smile :) I hope that they CAN unblock your tubes. And if not you seem to be storming along on the weight loss thing so although April seems like a long time off, atleast you will be in fantastic shape then at the rate youre going?

And IF you have to have IVF then fingers and toes crossed for you!

Congratulations to tinks and BB, I can Definately see the line in tinks test and pretty sure I can see one on the IC of BBs too.

Can't believe you managed it twice a day, I'm aiming to BD everyother day for next week and even that's being fairly optimistic lol. My hubby would break for good if we did it that many times!
  • haha mine too loulou!

Twice a week is extravagant for us!

I am so scared I hope this one is another forever baby :o:o:o:o:o:o

I'm sure it will be a forever baby for you. That's a good strong line :)

And twice a day for so long  Wow, I though we were doing well at once a day for 4 days in a row :rotfl:

Hugs BZ. Hopefully your consultant is giving you the worst case scenario, so the actual outcome can only be more positive. And you've done so well with your weight loss, so you will get there if you need to.

Congratulations tinkwings! So so happy for you :)
Bug hugs bigZ, IVF only has to work once though! Maybe you could use this time to save up for private treatment? X x
