FS appointment tomorrow for me, about the blocked tubes...eek. DH is a right mess about it. Has it in his head that they'll tell us there's nothing they can do and we'll never have kids. We've talked through how illogical this is, but it's still in his head...:cool:

Can I ask a question about norethisterone? I'm thinking about how I'll get AF on holiday which is a bummer and wondered if I took norethisterone for 2 weeks to delay this AF (or the next) do things carry on as normal from when you stop taking it? So if I make this cycle 40 days long will things just then carry on as normal once AF arrives, so OV will be (for me) 18-20 days after that and AF 10 days after that etc. Trying to work it so I might be around OV whilst we're away, OH gets frisky on holiday and it's about the only time we actually BD most days so it seems a shame to miss out on that opportunity! I remember taking it when I was younger but can't remember if things went back to normal afterwards (why would I, I was 15 and didn't really care! )

Morning everyone, can I have a rant for a bit?! My hubby is being stubborn about going for a SA he just won't make an appointment with docs and keeps asking why he has to go 1st and not me!

Thing is last year I was having a lot of pain in my ovary and had all kinds of tests then, and although it showed mild pcos on one side, everything else was fine - other ovary was fine, tubes were fine etc, I also had blood tests at 2 different times to check my fertility and they were all normal - I'm also ovalating each month, so I'm pretty sure if we have a problem its on his side (unless things with my fertility have changed in last 18 months.)

Hubby just doesn't seem to be taking it seriously, whereas I feel my life is on hold whilst ttc, as I'm in a job I hate with no prospects, as I don't want to find another one and get pregnant straight away. He just continues to carry on as normal - drinking most weekends etc, whereas I'm trying to be as healthy as poss.
