  • Or you could try giving them this address for the driver at the time:

    Mr I M Aalegend (it's pronounced "a leg-end")
    1-2 Denham Parade
    Oxford Road
    Uxbridge
    Middlesex UB9 4DZ

(The address is UKPC's address, as per their website.)

Probably not. But it is as valid as their claim. :)
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)

Safe in the knowledge that they cannot take my money etc. I now almost feel like 'playing' with them. Anyone else done this?

Oh yes, once you get the legislation into your head so you know what you are talking about 100% it can be fun. I like to make them waste some money and time first before i send my put-up-or-f*ck-off letter.

It needs a new word inventing for it................

Ok so in reply to my previous e-mail I had this back today:

"Thank you for email Mr White.

In relation to your alleged contract, I would refer you to the following link which highlights a similar claim by another individual which was unsuccessful in court:

    http://www.debtrecoveryplus.co.uk/news/detail.php?Another-successful-Court-date-for-DRPL-14

Regarding the Parking Charge Notice (PCN) itself, for the reasons outlined previously, the charge will stand.

I recommend that you obtain professional legal advice regarding this matter as soon as possible.

I understand that this is not the desired outcome. However, unless further evidence is provided, the decision on this matter is final. Furthermore, while any further correspondence contesting the decision will be noted and filed, I cannot assure you of a response unless fresh evidence is provided that would have a bearing on the decision.

Without settlement the account will be considered for legal action and this may further incur costs.

Furthermore, should this matter proceed to court a County Court Judgement (CCJ) may be granted in our favour and this may draw a negative effect on your credit rating.

I will place the account of £140.00 on hold for 14 days to allow time for payment to be made.

Alternatively, if you were not the driver at the time of the contravention, please provide by return the driver’s full contact details (e.g. name, address, etc) and I will re-direct our correspondence accordingly.

However, if no payment/additional information is received within this period, the matter will be passed on to our legal team for their consideration.

    Regards
