The car park owner, maybe.
PE, no. What’s in it for them to let anyone off?The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.

By car park owner do you mean Whitlingham country park? And would it be any better to write to both or just WCP?0 -

"Proper PPC" is an oxymoron. No such entity exists in this country, as far as I am aware. A PPC outside the BPA is likely to be even worse than one that's in. At least the latter makes the occasional effort to conform to the code of practice. A non-menber has no such constraints over their shameful behaviour.I actually considered putting a line in about using proper ppcs which means not parking eye and definitely no one not in the bpa

Indeed. What I should have said was don't bother with any PPC, use council car parks, failing that public transport, failing that other methods of transport. And definitely avoid any non-BPA member.0 -

I would use any carpark council or private, simply park and pay correctly. Just don't pay any silly charges private companies try and charge you!0 -

Unless of course they have a bad reputation for clamping or are illegal, but from October 2012 all clamping/towing will be illegal. After that, just avoid any back street car parks who do this stuff.0
