I wouldn't worry To much about your credit report as you've got an Aqua credit Card can't see it being up to much.

    Only kidding!

I have a very decent credit score. The Aquacard has been taken for a market leading cashback of 3% sole purpose

Whilst I do extremely appreciate you are trying to help, their website state following information:

    • Who is SAV Credit?

SAV Credit Ltd is the company that markets and underwrites aqua credit cards.
This means they are not owners but just marketers and underwriters
On your credit agreement, who does it show as the other party to the agreement?

If it says SAV Credit then the Doctor has given you the correct name (as a quick google would confirm).

my apologies - I am not entirely up to date with the structure of SAV Credit

    http://www.savcredit.co.uk/about-sav/content.asp?id=705

In 2010, SAV Credit established Progressive Credit Limited (PCL) as a wholly owned subsidiary of SAV Credit

and Progressive Credit Limited are the card issuer for Aqua from 1st March 2012 having taken assignment from Bank of Scotland (so for "Bank of Scotland" read "Progressive Credit Limited"

Progressive Credit Limited were the issuer of OPUS credit cards earlier than Aqua and without the involvement of Bank of Scotland for the admin as far as I am aware

You would wish to identify the correct entity for the N1 form if taking legal action

So you would not name the defendant as Lloyds Banking Group plc if entity liable was Lloyds TSB Bank plc or Lloyds TSB Scotland plc or Bank of Scotland plc

There is more information on SAV Credit than Progressive Credit Limited and I do not know who the CEO of the latter is

The thing that confuses it further is that i have phoned up Aqua and asked them a direct question: Are you a member of a Lloyds Banking Group?
Yes, was the answer which then suggests that Mr Antonio Horta-Osorio is in charge here as well

  • Aqua is owned by progressive under their banking licence as of the start of this year (approximately) and lbg has been contracted to deal with the cards service queries. complaints are dealt with by halifax complaints staff however if you insist on speaking to the ceo it would be aquas ceo himself who would be your contact.
