Well look at it this way, their contact page that I linked above has some addresses in it.

One of them is an old Bank of Scotland site. The other is the old Halifax Building Society head office.

LBG via HBOS administer the card. The funding for the lending comes from elsewhere. Those who administer the card are who you deal with. Mr Antinio Portugese bloke is the top dog there.

Whilst I do extremely appreciate you are trying to help, their website state following information:

  SAV Credit Ltd is the company that markets and underwrites aqua credit cards.
  

This means they are not owners but just marketers and underwriters

I wouldn't worry To much about your credit report as you've got an Aqua credit Card can't see it being up to much.
