How do I deal with this one?

ive just had this situation myself, bought and paid for an item that was to be a bday present for my son, that was 1st aug. I contacted the seller to ask about postage situation, no reply, gave it til the 13th when we came back from a weekend away to find it still hadnt arrived and again contacted the seller with no response.

The same day that I started INR and escalated due to lack of response from them, they marked it as dispatched, 14 days after payment!!! Needless to say the item never arrived and im now awaiting a refund from paypal which should clear in the next day or so.

Needless to say they got a neg and 1 stars across the board from me to add to the ones that have sprung up since I purchased from them!!

Communication in the context of the stars means efforts to communicate as well......so a LACK of communication from a seller is just as much "communication" in its absence as a series of messages or emails may be, you are NOT barred from starring the communications in any transaction if the seller ignores yhour effrots to contact them - you should really mark them with very low stars if this is the case!!!!

With the comms star thingy, it only works if the dispatch setting was set to 1-day and the item was dispatched in that time-frame. They wouldn't get auto-5 anyway.
