iPad on contract - can I sell it?

Hi all,
I just wanted some advice. I got iPad 3 a month or so ago, but disappointed as it can't do half the stuff I want it to do and I already have iPhone and two laptops, so feel as if it is a waste at the moment.
I paid a fee for it and have it with my broadband contract with threes, but thinking of selling it as it doesn't seem that useful.
A lady has offered to buy it off me and I don't know whether to sell it, she says she only wants to use it on wifi. So can I sell it to her?
Not so sure?
I apologise if this has been posted in wrong section.

Yes but you will still have to pay the contact0

You can sell the iPad itself but the contract stays with you and so you should take the sim card out of it before giving it to her.
If you call three they will give you an early settlement figure for breaking the contract early but it is going to be not far off all the installments you agreed to pay.
Alternatively you could put the sim into a dongle or mifi device and use the mobile broadband with one of your laptops whilst your out and about0 -
What did you expect it to do or want it to do ?
Did you research what an iPad could do ?0 -
I'm not worried about the contract, I can afford that. It's just that it's no use and I can't do certain things on it.
So I just take SIM card out and it will all be fine?0 -

Presumably the ipad does much the same as an iphone?

Bloody hell, its none of our business what it couldn't do or why the OP doesn't want to keep it. That is also not the point of the post is it?
OP, as stated you can sell the ipad itself but ensure to remove the sim card before selling as you wouldn't want the buyer to be drumming up a huge bill for you. You will have to pay the remainder of the contract or see what the fee is to cancel early but normally this is the remainder of the contract anyway in one go.
Its al been said above but just confirming.0 -

Take the sim card out and find a converter that will let you put the micro sim into a mobile broadband dongle. This will then let you surf the internet whilst out and about. If you have unlimited data with three that's a win win!! On top you can sell your ipad since it is yours to keep but as you said you're not bothered about paying for the contract. Then you have nothing to worry about.0 -
The story goes like this:
I have my broadband dongle with Three. I pay around £21-£22 with them and really wanted an iPad. I go into the Three store and they was happy to get me an iPad. I paid an outright fee of £100 for it and my monthly bill would now be £29, instead of £22. So I thought why not?
Anyway, I have 2 laptops, an iphone and iPad doesn't so as much as you think. You can't watch certain videos from browsing Chrome as you need Flash player and it doesn't work and other stuff. Everything I can do, I can do do on one of the laptops or my iPhone. So my iPad is just sat there, not to mention has dodgy patches throughout watch BBC iPlayer.
So, I figured that best thing is to sell it.
This is a white iPad, perfect condition and has a cover and a case. I am seelig this for £300 only.
Thank you all for your advice and information,0
