I have just phoned Mr Setford to inform him to contact the company and let them know it is displaying his details and also take off the store credit card details option so as to stop people buying on his account.
He said he did not even know about this glitch.
I hope he manages to sort it before he is lumbered with a huge credit card bill

i ordered one and got it ok! plugged it all in ok but no power
friend reckons the wiring needs changing (swapping red and yellow over?)
i have 51 punto sporting btw
anyone else had such troubles?2007 Comping challenge -> £00.00 <-Typical luck!:mad:0 -
something to do with the red wire. Apparently you have to connect this directly to the live feed from your battery. Its quite an advanced operation though if you're not sure what your doing, I'd let your mate do it for you :beer:0

Let us know how you got on, as I will be installing this in a punto as well!
Did you buy some new ISO cables or does the wiring harness for the standard stereo plug straight in the back of this new one?
Cheers0 -
I've read that about the wiring too. I'll be installing in an MG TF tomorrow, see how it goes.
Easy enough, snip both wires and use a connecting block to rejoin them to where they should be.0 -
the head unit came with an ISO adapter which was cool, all seemed to be going far to easy, old stereo out (need some special prongs or bent coat hanger and an aerial adapter too, got all these and facia off ebay for a tenner), new facia in, ISO on and!!!!!!..........................nothing. checked fuses all ok. had a quick look on some fiat forums and it has something to do with yellow/orange and red wires being swapped. mentioned to a friend and he reckons he can sort it friday. so if its a easy process i will let you know if its worth the hassle. gotta be better than the crappy cassette deck i had before though!2007 Comping challenge -> £00.00 <-Typical luck!:mad:0

thunderchump, could you take note to what your mate does and let me know?
Also bluey9, could you give any tips when you've done it!
Thanks a lot :money:0
