You will only be able to control it via the ipod menu

Alonso, connecting mp3 players is vis the line in (aux) and you will be able to control via menus.I don't think mp3 players can be plugged into the USB, only hard drive type devices.
I received mine yesterday, ordered on Sunday. The box did not contain the remote but I got an e-mail this morning apologising for the error saying a new remote would be posted today.

I just get the login screen. Clear your cookies and temp internet files, and see what happens then
