That and the fact that she probably already knew she should have put on a reserve or started at a higher price.0 -

That was in no way helpful to her predicament.0 -

If I were the OP I'd grovel to the purchaser then take the possible consequences good or bad then forget about it, it's not a life or death
situation. It's a genuine mistake, your new to posting on ebay, so if I were the purchaser I'd be disappointed but I wouldn't leave bad feedback0 -

Is it?? Surely the auction has been sat there all week at the low start price / no reserve.0 -
You're the sort of person that makes me believ that Ebay is full of sharks and tricksters. Its fairly clear waht sort of deal you are getting into when you start, and now becoz it hasnt gone your way, you are trying to back out. Would you have stopped the auction early when you thought the auction price was high enough, but you didnt want to make too much money? I have bid for things on ebay and I notice that virtually nothing ever sells for LESS than the buyitnow price and items get put on there on a rolling basis. Frankly I think its populated by Hucksters and rip off merchants. Business's trade on there and try to shirk their legal responsibilitys re faulty goods, refunded postage, fit for purpose etc.tribuo veneratio ut alius quod they mos veneratio vos0
