Quick question about the LYB card, will they have my name on as I would like to give some to other people
That's if I end up getting my orders:A0 -
I made a list of items which I want to order, it would be 5 more orders
See you all at 5am, not gonna miss this time!

Can anyone tell me what the Eid thing is everyone is talking about, just got two gift sets x
It marks the end of the month of Ramadan, which is the month in which Muslims fast every day
They're a brave lot couldn't last that long without food
So some of the boxes are tied with ribbon (which has wording on it for Eid) that's all, you can easily remove it.0 -

Eid is the festival celebrated by Muslims at the end of ramadhan and then there is another Eid 2 months later (this one is to celebration the willingness to give up world ties for god).
The first Eid in 2012 will be in approx 3 days, body shop (who in my opion are the best) normally bring out gift sets during ramadan for people to give as gifts for eid.
Most of the gift sets that people have ordered have eid ribbons on them n are designed with the culture in mind. You can remove the ribbons if you want.
If i remember correctly a similar glitched happened a few years ago.
I missed out then n i've missed out again so far.
well done to everyone that has got stuff/have orders pending.0 -

Shower gels are still there but it doesn't state free gift by them anymore.
The free gifts are now the shampoo and conditioners, these are only £2 each not £5 like the shower gels.
I agree, I think that's the end of it. All week even when the cards have been out of stock the rewards page has taken you to a link with the card and the shower gels on it and stated that you can get one free if you buy a card, now that link just takes you to the card and the body polish things that lyb members can get at a discount- there is no mention of the free shower gel at all. The free shampoo is a completely different offer (free when you spend £5) not related to the rewards card and I don't think its ever worked with this glitch.:(
I think TBS have been fabulous to honour all these orders and although I can see that it might be a way of getting rid of old stock I think it has gone way beyond that, especially now the gift boxes are selling out, people are ordering lots of other things that aren't going to be discontinued.
I won't be trying in the morning as i dont need anything but hope i'm wrong for all those who will be. If not, it was good while it lasted, thanks again op0 -
I know some of us on here aren't aware of Body Shops past history with glitches and how long they run so just wanted to chime in my 2 cents, if it's worth that lol.
Body shop regularly have these glitches, whether this is incompetance on their behalf for not being aware of crossed offers or if it is a marketing ruse to get rid of stock quickly.
Now either way, bare in mind they have procedures to stop glitch orders spiralling out of control, and hence why they can honour them, such as updating stock to a certain level each morning at a preset time, and blocking cards after x amount of orders (now it used to be a card blocked after two but it seems others have managed this recently so maybe they are more leniant?)
They would have been aware of this glitch in the first day, the amount of orders (if not the revenue) would have alerted them to an issue, they have to then work out the issue and inform management (who may just be on holiday/in meetings) lengthy meetings take place to decide what course of action will be taken to ensure the best return of custom.
Having studied business and knowing that body shop hase a very high profit margin, chances are, they aren't making a loss on these products, even with the glitch. Most people are buying Eid sets which would be repackaged next year albeit they will have to pay for a new box design. Body shop unlike alot of companies do not spend alot of money on advertising and promotion, which is surprising considering the position they are in, even competitors such as Lush have a massive budget for a wide range of events and campaigns. Does it not make sense for the body shop to introduce a glitch every now and then, to get rid of the majority of old stock that they want shifted (would cost them more in manpower to repackage them) knowing most people will buy gift sets? nd these gift sets will be spread amongst friends and faily, with these cards, and no doubt entice double the amount of customers to each order?
It's just a theory based on business knowledge but I think it would be a little naive to think they had 'just caught on'. And lets fce it, e don't mind sharing our stashes out for a cheap deal, these glitches are aimed at us after all.
I hope everyone receives their orders in full and that if not body shop will honour those who had sets missing. The chocomania sets look amazing and I haven't seen a range like this with the same ethics behind the products. Fingers crossed for everyone tomorrow morning, and not sure f it works like that or not but if the BB cream still offers free delivery maybe card, shampoo, bb cream nd gift set would be a good deal at £5?
Thank you op for sharing :AComping wishlist for 2017
