Love it, I'm getting lessons in thinking for oneself from a man who believes David Icke LOL!

And as stated he doesn't tell you what to think 'about' he incourages you 'how' to think and that is by breaking down conformity and reality as we are told it is in our heads. Quite simple really!

Indeed, I agree we are in danger of conforming without thought if we don't open our minds to possibilities beyond the obvious/learned. But I don't need to pay someone £60+ to tell me that; I worked it all out for myself. ;)

... At best you might score you a few points amongst your peers here on mse (congrats) and give yourself some odd kind of entertainment.

Well you can hardly complain about that since you joined in with the pic posting flaming. I think all round, the maturity level in all this is pretty low. And I think an apology to the OP for completely hijacking the thread (and taking it so far off topic not even the lizard people on the moon can drag it back) might be a good way to redeem things.

Just my (own) opinion though. :)

LOL, so you need a loony like Icke to "incourage you 'how' to think"? Can't do it for yourself, huh? Just who exactly is it who needs a lecture on thinking for himself?

Here are some of Icke's very recent barking-mad ravings. If you are prepared to take seriously someone this crazy, let alone pay him money, you need your bumps reading too! Still, the idea of thousands of people kneeling in front of their tellys and focussing their "heart energy" on Mr. Bean is pretty funny!

"The opening and closing ceremonies of the London Olympics are mass satanic rituals disguised as a celebration of Britain and sport."

"Symbols are electromagnetic information fields that are encoded with information related to what the symbols represent. These symbols can attach to our own electromagnetic fields and psyche when we give them our unknowing attention – energy flows where attention goes."

"This week in the build-up to the London Games opening ceremony tonight UK time people have come together around the world to focus upon key symbols to be used in tonight's ceremony (ritual) with their heart energy and dilute the power they will have."

"Tonight we are coming together to dilute the power of the ritual at 8.10pm UK time before the opening ceremony starts at 9pm."

"The Olympic Stadium is strategically placed on the earth-energy grid to tap into the immense London and British power centres and this is why Glastonbury Tor, one of the most significant earth-vortex points in the UK, is a centrepiece of the opening ceremony. The microcosm (the model of Glastonbury Tor in the Olympic stadium) draws in the energy from its macrocosm. It is an expression of the holographic principle of ‘as above, so below’. This is how symbolism works."

"The Global Cabal seeks to harness this energy on its own satanic frequencies or vibrations. The enormous Olympic bell, the biggest harmonically-tuned bell in the world made specially for the opening ceremony, is designed to dictate that frequency right at the start."

"If you watch the Olympic opening ceremony ritual on television today please focus heart-energy on the stadium throughout and especially on the bell at the start of the 'show' (ritual), Glastonbury Tor and the lighting of the cauldron."

If you check you'll find that the OP thanked me for pointing out that she had inadvertently been watching a crackpot on YouTube, and had a laugh about it herself.

Neither of us had any idea at the time that one of his buddies was going to start ranting at us, and I did suggest after a couple of posts that we desisted taking it off-topic!

Anyway Baz, thanks for your NINE paragraphs (so much for wanting to keep on topic) go back to sleep and we'll just carry on with the parking ticket in question eh? there's a good sheep.

Nine paragraphs of tripe nearly all copied-and-pasted from your Mr. Icke's website! But yes, my little gullible fool, I'll let it go back on topic if the OP wants to. If you can resist replying that is, which really shouldn't be a problem for you since you don't give a crap.

    Thanks for the help :j

You found THAT on youtube when I had already told you where to find the Watchdog 'Parking Companies Scam' clip on youtube?! I feel like giving up.

I didn't mean to offend you, this forum is a pretty scary place for the newbies. I looked at the Watchdog clip and when it finished the clip I put the link on here for came up as well, so I thought I would try and be helpful and share the link. Please think twice before telling us new ones off! Life is already stressful having received a parking fine on top of everything else and being a 'by the book' kind of person it takes all my courage to remain strong and not pay up!!

Don't sweat it Blondie, your inadvertently-chosen YouTube clip wasn't a million miles away from accurate and led to us having a bit of a laugh at the expense of the tin-foil-hat brigade!

Its ok, you wont have offended anyone but the way your post with the link read, made it look like you had just gone off and not bothered with the advice given. Thats all :)

Im sure you will see if you pop back that loads of posts are pretty much the same (i admit i was one of them!) and the regulars do end up saying the same thing over. The advice given does feel like going against the grain but these are a scam (the one thats giving me a giggle is the guy who got ticketed for turning round in the car park!).

Tick off the letters (im on 1 x ticket and 2 of the chain letters) against the templates in the sticky and get on with worrying about things that deserve the attention (only exception are if court papers ever turn up!) :D
