Always take mugs with me for a proper size cuppa
There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

A bottle of squash, as sometimes the water tastes weird.0

ps - to save space and so I don't have as much washing when I get back - I always do some washing at the launderette if there is one there (just one lot of white/coloured). If you consider this, don't forget washing powder/liquid. It gives me the chance to have a bit of a read and peace and quiet for a bit too. Take a couple of books just in case.
In which case bin liners come in handy for this too.MSE Forum's favourite nutter :T0 -

We've just got back from a week at a Haven in Cleethorpes and whilst I can honestly say I was dreading it at first it was one of the best family holidays we have ever had. Playing cricket on the beach at night and spending so much time together as a family. It was wonderful.
Like everyone has said take as much as possible and definitely wine/vodka as the site shops are very expensive.
Have a great time!!0 -
I take my own pillows and Duvet. I am just not comfortable using theirs.
apart from that - food, toilet rolls, my cafetiere (I dont mind teabags in mugs - but real coffee requires a cafetiere), make sure I take condiments, and a comprehensive first aid kit (and after last hol it will also include cystitis remedy and lots of paracetamol).0 -
pegs
tea towel
dish cloth
decent knife
can opener/bottle opener
first aid kit
small coffee/tea/sugar/bread/washing up liquid to get you through til you can get to a supermarket - the onsite shops are always extortionate.
potentially decent sized cups as the sites I have been to always give me teeny ones. Maybe plastic cups for any little ones you may have with you
A torch and batteries - if you go out any evening entertainment it can help to see your way back
They are the first things I think of off the top of my head.Spam Reporter Extraordinaire

A decent bread/carving knife. Chopping board - in my experience, the ones provided are roughly the size of a Postage stamp! a CORKSCREW

Matches/electric lighter for the cooker and gas fire. Own pillows, and a nice big blanket to cuddle up under at night.
Enjoy :j:jDon't put it DOWN, put it AWAY!
