If I sold everything and repaid the debt i believe id have 20k in the bank
dont forget to minus your student loans guysz they are still debt even if its good debt0 -
I treat Student Loans as a higher marginal rate of tax. Given that over any timescale I am likely to be interested in, I'm not going to pay it off, it's essentially a tax.I'm an Investment Manager. Well really! According to the poll headings, I'm a Moneybags - merely because the house I've lived in since the 60s is now worth approximately £400,000 (mortgage paid off). However, the fact that I'm scratching around for a meagre pension so that I can still eat, gives a bit of a lie to that.0

I think if I sold everything I owned, ( not including any part of my body, just personal effects!) Id be worth around 45k
Actually, thats quite cheering. Thatnks to the OP i was feeling quite !!!!ed off with my lot today until now
Off to waste 6 quid on a pack of fags :wall::beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Agreed, but having a poll of "current cash at hand or cash equivalents" would only be open to people who manage their affairs with Excel, Money etc. and keep it up-to-date. Wait! Maybe we all do that?0 -
How do I value my worth?
Do I include the OH's money?

Interesting question. Didn't occur to me not to as I can't define what's his or mine. Whoever survives the other will end up with it all anyway (unless we choose before hand to arrange things differently) so I'm not sure even halving it makes sense for this question. My worth *is* his worth and vise versa. Which one of us goes out to earn it is irrelevant. It's all 'ours'.0
