  • Thanks again dacouch for a helpfull reply. I forgot to say in my last post I have his Policy no. and Insurance co from the askmid website. I just spent the last hour reading the thread on them that was posted, and wow Im so glad I googled them before going ahead!

    Just give them a call, be polite explain you've had DA pressurising you into a credit hire but would prefer to help them keep their costs down.

    DA won't normally offer a credit hire car unless they're confident they will get their money back, they often ring through to the other Insurer to check they accept liability, so the other Insurer is probably already admitting liability.
  • Hi sorry I've not updated this, I'd like to thank everyone for their advice. I dealt directly with the other parties insurance and it couldn't of gone easier, and today I recieved my cheque for my settlement that I was more than happy with.
