Friday :j:j
Dinner with TM last night which was nice - but naughty food! Feeling the effects this morning - really need to get back on the diet and exercise wagon next week!
Was hoping to sit down with my boss today but not sure that's going to happen!
Plans for the weekend are gym tonight, lunch and cocktails with the girls tomorrow, gym on Sunday and then maybe a little retail therapy as I have birthday money

Hope you have an amazing weekend! I am on a long weekend nice to have a breakNow a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0

Gym after work last night but then a 3 hour journey home as the motorway was blocked . Therefore not much else was achieved! Weight has stayed the same this week which I'm actually quite pleased with considering the big weekend I had last weekend and not much effort made this week. Back on it big style next week
Got to talk to my boss yesterday afternoon and she has assured me that my job is safe at the moment and that I am doing it well. Feel better for hearing that but, from a financial point of view, there is still the question of looking for something else better paid or nearer home or moving nearer work to cut the cost of the commute? No pay rises or promotion in the foreseeable future and I still have a long way to go paying off my debts - I reckon at least another 3 years @ £350ish a month.
Off to meet the girls for lunch today, really looking forward to it! Fab time yesterday! Lovely lunch and then an afternoon spent drinking cocktails! A bit spendy but a girl is entitled to some belated birthday cocktails!
Need to get on track with avengence now! Should be a quiet week socially and pay day on Wednesday so it's good eating, exercise and sorting finances! Plans today are go to the gym, sort out membership whilst I'm there, sort out Next returns and do some housework before watching the football this afternoon. But first - coffee!Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
Turned into a lazy Sunday! Sorted my Next returns and did some washing but nothing else on my list!
Back to dieting and exercise with avengence this week! Into work for 8 o'clock so I can finish earlier, gym bag in the car - planning on 4 sessions this week to make up for the last couple of weeks of over indulgence. Back on the sensible eating regime too - 5 weeks to my office party and the 5k run so I'd like to lose half a stone in that time - doable I think?
Have also started making Christmas lists - master plan of being organised this year! I have a present list and a list for each social event. I want to plan outfits, see what I need to buy and allocate funds to each event. Am having a family party on 23rd December so need to plan for that too - food, entertainment, outfit and mega clean up. I am never this organised so keep nagging away - I'm easlily sidetracked!Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
Surprise late birthday present from a colleague which was lovely, Chanel nail polish! Certainly cheered up a dull Monday:). Left on time (early!) so it's fab being home at this time! Really want to stick to it but I'm hopeless in the mornings so will have to push myself to do it! Decided against the gym but have eaten well and plan to go tomorrow. Quiet evening, early night and lots of lovely sleep - my diet plan says getting enough sleep is important so that's something else I'm working on.Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0

Tuesday - I realy don't like Tuesdays for some reason!
Head down and get through some work, leave on time and then the gym tonight!
Have ordered a trial pack of XLS Medical slimming pills - mixed reviews but this type of thing always does and I feel the need for a bit of a boost. Should be delivered tomorrow so will try them for 5 days and hope it gets me back on trackSometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
Gym last night - had to force myself to go and I am really struggling with my running programme! Less than 5 weeks to my 5k and I don't think my progress is what it should be!
Pay day today so I need to sit down at the weekend and work out my finances - have not been keeping track properly over the last few months so I'm not sure much progress will have been made! However, my plan was always to pay off debts slowly and steadily and still 'have a life'
Am wearing a pair of shoes today that really crush my toes but I'm determined to break them as I love them! Will I ever learn :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Nice long call with TM last night

Hello ShoeGal,
I love reading your diary, although tend to lurk more than post.
I was told about a great running app called From Couch to 5K which may still help you? I know you're a way into your training, but it may still help get you on track if you have a compatible phone. I haven't downloaded it only because I'm no good at running and prefer to do weights work at the gym.
It's nice to hear things are on the up with TM. I really hope you both get to the place you'd like to be with him.
Happy hump day to you too.0
