New TV bought and set up! Using the Nectar points in my handbag fund, a £15 Argos gift card I had from a previous refund meant I only spent £65 actual cash so could've been worse!

Organsied my friend's 40th and paid deposit for everybody! Works out quite well as I won't have to pay for my meal on the night with the deposits everybody owes me so budgeting by default!!!

I have so much to do and get organised - I really just need to get my head down and get on with stuff or I can see a major panic in the week before Christmas! :p

Starting with getting my head down at work this afternoon!

On the train on the way down to London for my conference. I keep saying it but I really need to get myself more organised, was up late last night sorting out clothes - and I've ended up wearing something different this morning! On a more positive note, I've put my 'smart' dress on which I haven't worn since July (we have a casual dress code on the office) and it's much better fitting! I love a diet success moment like that! :D

Where did the last week go!!!

I really enjoyed the conference, some good networking and the social side was good too! Had a lovely weekend last weekend, was invited to watch the Christmas lights switch on locally with TM and his daughter, then went out to lunch on the Sunday :D All just as friends but I really enjoyed it

Manic week at work last week, couple of big events coming up including the Christmas party on Friday! Five hours shopping on Saturday produced a dress for the party but spending is all over the place! Have a bit of a social whirl over the next few weeks so I'm just going with it - then there can be a frugal January!

I have my charity 5k on Sunday. I've not done anywhere near the training I planned to do but timed it on the treadmill in the gym yesterday - and at least I know I can get round!

Lost the 2lbs I'd regained last week and another one so only a pound away from my stone target - a good week needed! Would be fab to go to the Christmas party having hit that target!

    Hi Shoegirl,

Well done on the dress, what a feeling! I have given up eating pasta and bread, and pretty much given up potatoes and rice, and have lost 20 lbs since February, It does cost a bit more, cos I eat twice the amount of vegetables, but I have also been IBS free except for the day after I succumbed to a shop bought pizza. Strangely, P!zza Expre55 thin crust doesn't have that effect, so that's an occasional treat.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

Busy, busy, busy at work but managed to cross a few personal things off my list yesterday too! Went to the gym last night and did 5k, about the same time. I'm annoyed with myself that I've not put in the training and will only get round on Sunday rather than actually run it! However, lesson learned and I still intend to get fit - maybe I'll do some other charity event next year?

Lots to do today, work and personal stuff - and then should be dinner with TM tonight :D

Busy day at work yesterday, but a couple of personal jobs crossed off the list too

A lovely dinner with TM last night :D

Loads to do today! Intend to either run or go to the gym tonight, last chance to do anything before my run on Sunday. :p
