What's the deal?
In the new edition of Asda's in store magazine (the April edition, but its in stores now) on page 97, there is a voucher available for a free eye test at any Asda opticians.
To find your nearest Asda store and to check if it has an opticians, use the storefinder and look for the opicians logo.
Do I have to buy glasses from them?
Of course Asda is hoping that you'll buy glasses from it if you need them, yet you may be able to get them elsewhere cheaper. Remember you're not obliged to buy glasses from it once you've had the test.

Hi everyone,
Sorry if this has been posted before, there's a voucher in the back of the April edition of the FREE Asda magazine, it's right at the back and is valid until 30 April. I'm getting contact lenses and this is great for me.
The magazine is yellow in colour and has cakes on the front (yummy)

i work near an asda & several people who have had eye tests were not happy with them - they are very quick compared to other opticians "what lies behind us & what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us" Ralph Waldo Emerson0

When you've had your free eye test at ASDA or anywhere else, ask for a copy of the prescription ensuring that it includes pupillary distance and have a look at the following site for good quality, well-priced glasses...

Might need glasses and been looking for nice ones everywhere (regardless of price) and that site is the only place I have seen nice glasses so far. Plus they're cheap.
Thanks0 -
