Hugs and kisses to everyone else having a rough time at the moment.
Today has been a relatively good day, so won't moan:D Nurses were here too early again, but my pain has eased a little:j:j:j:j
OH up early with work but was finished by 9am and had Physio at 10. Then he took DD to get her new phone she's been saving for and bought back a cupcake which was £3:eek::eek::eek:....BUT homemade apparently. Then I had the chiropodist/reflexologist come this afternoon which was nice and she was here for just under an hour and half. Im so tired!
Anyway, hope all is well.

Just in time to say goodnight again.
I could have done with an easy day today after a weekend and a half, but I'm very proud to say that I've been a busy little bee and my kitchen gleams. Half my trouble is that things get on top of me and when I'm overwhelmed I don't know where to start so I don't start anywhere. I've been so ashamed of the state of my garden that I have let the house get into a state as well, but the dear lads from the drop-in have cleared with gusto. They have a liking for bare earth I think so my flower beds are now deserts, but I am so encouraged to see things being tidied that I feel able to drag up a bit of motivation to give the house a bit of TLC.
Let's hope it lasts.
It's a bit late Elona but Happy Birthday, or whatever's left of it. Hope you had a wonderful day.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Just nipping in to say
Elona - Happy birthday, hope you had a lovely day. Good luck to your dd hope she gets a positive outcome from her interview.
Tru ((hugs))
PP - glad you had a good day and enjoyed the reflexology.
Hailight - I can understand your anger at the job centre, I only had the pleasure of visiting once and that was enough.
Not had much chance to post today, been dismantling a shed by myself when I found out they were coming to assemble the new one tomorrow. Dh was working all day and was only due home late so thought Id better start before he got home, He only had to help move the dismantled panels elsewhere so I have earned major brownie points today.
Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care0 -
evening!
just in from work.
Thanks for the good wishes re DHs hosital appointment.
The consultant does not think its vertigo at all. Loads of tests later he thinks it may be down to low BP due to all the heart pills DH is on. He was suprised to hear DH had a bypass at only 42 and that he's still working full time.
So its back to the GP and possible a heart specialist to try and sort his pills out.
Elona - good luck with the weight loss! x
Tru - (((Hugs))) x x
work went ok - actually I had an hour lying on a warm waterbed in a lovely relaxing room at Snoezelen:):T
Off to bed now as I'm on an early shift tomorrow
take care all x xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Happy, slightly late, Birthday wishes Elona,I do hope you have had a good day Just off to bed and hope I can get off to sleep DGS danny has his echo tomorrow morning so fingers crossed.Today has been hectic and the boys have been brilliant helping get lots of bits together for our forthcoming trek to Norfolk on Saturday.Just went out to the conservatory and it was raining cats and dogs, hope it dries up for the weekend at least henry had a dental check up today and bless him he told the new dentist lady that he had one tooth that was a bit sensitive to hot and cold and she x-rayed it and as it was a baby tooth and the new one was in the gum she said he could either wait until it dropped out or she would take it out.OK says our tough little chap take it out now please .So she did and not a whimper or moan
I asked if her was alright and he said yup no probs gran its out of the way now so my new one can come through. He is just 11 and I have been taking the boys to the dentist since they were old enough to sit in the chair and not one of them makes a fuss no matter what they have done.
I got my new Book Club book this morning as well so I'm saving it for my holidays its called The Necropolis Railway by Andrew Martin and looks good.I watched the 13 Steps Down on t.v. tonight by Ruth Rendell,it good, but no where near as good as the book, which is brilliant and well worth a read.
Right I'm off and <<hugs >> to those who are going through a bad time at the moment
Wasn't the closing of the games great ,apart from a couple of groups whom I had never heard of and I loved Eric Idle, very British humour at its best I thought
Good night God Bless all here

Jackie, I assume the book is about the Brookwood cemetery in Surrey? My great great grandfather was the master stonemason for it and was housed in the cemetery
I didn't find this out until long after I was fascinated by the whole idea.
