Strange, but it has fixed itself.
I put my digital camera into the usb, ran that, then changed back to the eyetoy, and it re-installed it!
I'm happy.Be Pure, Be Vigilant, Behave!:A0 -
I think that the most important thing about web cam is the connection to the computer. make sure you get a USB2 connection.
All the other fetchers are pretty the same, so don't spend more than few pounds.
Hope you find it useful

Amazon have on their site a web cam for £1.97 YES 1.97 has been reduced from 19.99. I've ordered one just to try at this price! It has night vision as well.0

They have various webcams for low prices, some look similar though, not sure which to buy, whether to fork out £3.49 for the 1 mega pixel one or go for the £2 one

Baldrick: Is it as cunning as a fox what used to be Professor of Cunning at Oxford University but has moved on and is now working for the U.N. at the High Commission of International Cunning Planning?
Blackadder: Yes it is.
Baldrick: Hmm... that's cunning.0 -

Glad you got it working again, I use a program called drivermax (you can download it free from http://www.innovative-sol.com/drivermax/ )what it does is search out all your current drivers and puts them in a file for easy installation if you need them again (like after reinstalling windows) just put the driver folder on a disk or USB drive or something so you always have it to hand. Keeps all your drivers in one place.
Very handy little prog.Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!

- CreativeLive Cam Video* from Amazon, £25.60 (this was £7.99 until 8am this morning, a fantastic deal, and it was the reason I started this post, sadly the price has massively jumped). It includes a microphone, headset and comes with 30 minutes of free calls to any UK landlines via Skype.
This is on at £9.98 n ow, if anyone's still in the market. Tempted myself...But the banks are made of marble,
With a guard at every door,
And the vaults are stuffed with silver,
That the farmer sweated for.0
